“Would go back!”
Very charming hotel. Loved the victorian furniture. Bathtub was huge! Robes were warm and comfy. Room was spacious. Staff was friendly. It was very quiet. Continental breakfast was okay. Muffins, fruit, toast and yogart. We were the only ones in the breakfast room. Free internet in breakfast room. There were also snacks by the coffee maker. That was nice. O would stay here again!
“A Wonderful Hotel”
We stayed at The Sterling to be centrally located to our extended family. The hotel is a slice of life of the historic Sacramento with updated amenities. The rooms are spacious and elegant, even having a jacuzzi tub. We entertained there at their restaurant and was given excellent service. I would go back anytime I stay in Sacramento. We feel really at home.
“Very nice victorian hotel with modern anemities”
We liked the the location of the hotel and it was a nice place to stay for the weekend. The jacuzzi tubs make it really easy to relax and the staff is excellent. The hotel is located close enough to midtown Sacramento and to museums to make it a great weekend getaway in the city.
“Just what we were looking for; it was Sterling.”
In Sacramento's Mansion district, near the Gov's Mansion. Great location. Great room; bathrm had a big hottub. Continental bkfst had fresh fruit. Could walk the city from here. 5 Brewpubs in walking distance
“Super cute B&B”
The Sterling Hotel was even sweeter than the pictures showed... big old house with lovely rooms and a nice, professional staff. Loved the furniture and the unique aspects of the room. Breakfast was good. Great location. Will definitely stay again when visiting family in the area.
“sterling”
Unique, clean, friendly and quiet. It only lacks a parking lot but there are spaces on the street or a "pay" city lot near by. I would stay there again for sure and recommend it highly. Personnel @ hotel very friendly and hopeful.
“Nice Victorian & Great Staff”
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our room was full of character. The property is central to many fine resturants and cultural activities. We will stay there again.
“Convenient location”
This is a nice hotel that felt more like a B&B. Very clean and comfortable, although a bit noisy - we could hear the water running in other people's jet tubs and showers. Easy walk to Old Town and the Capital.
“Unique & lovely hotel”
Comfortable & charming historical 1894 residence turned hotel. Staff very courteous. no parking at hotel. 2 hr meter parking on street except on weekends when it is free. Has the feel of elegance with few signs of wear. Would highly recommend it.
“Sterling Inn - Sacramento”
The curb appeal was very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. This is a well-kept jewel in Sacramento and refurbished very well. I will stay here next time I'm in Sacramento.
