“Nice place to stay.”
Nice and clean. Steps away for the Capitol building. Parking is $17 a day.
“Nice stay, will not hesitate to visit again”
After a long and tiring drive from Yosemite Hyatt provided a much needed rest. We got the room from the unpublished rate deal, so I somewhat expected to be relegated to a room with a garage view but we were given rooms on the same floor (Club) and both rooms were great. The hotel bar was extremely busy (some big convention or a wedding) so getting bartender's attention proved to be difficult but the rest of the stay was impeccable - clean rooms, great shower, comfortable mattress and pillows. In the morning the blow dryer was not behaving (looks like it was dropped and could not work on High setting), within 5 minutes of my call to housekeeping the new dryer was brought in (it was around 7am on Sunday and we were rushing to catch our plane, so such speedy response was really appreciated). We had dinner on our way into Sacramento so didn't check out the surrounding restaurants, nor did we have dinner at the hotel, so can not vouch for food. Overall - great night sleep in a nice place that seemed centrally located, helpful and courteous staff. Will definitely go back if need to stay in Sacramento.
“Our annual stop”
We stop here on our way to and back from Palm Springs each year and love the staff and the beauty of the hotel . . . and of course a dinner at Dawson's each time!! And we always get a view of the Capitol Building which is lovely to look at out our picture window.
“Great location!”
Staff was professional and polite! Great location, would definitely stay there again.
“Very comfortable”
Very comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Double room was very spacious and very clean. Staff was friendly. Quite enjoyable experience.
“relaxation”
Honored our request for early check-in. Marilyn was gracious and accommodating. Great stay for a Mother-Daughter week-end.
“A Great Location”
Attentive and helpful staff, excellent housekeeping staff, lovely grounds, and a perfect location just across the street from the Capitol. Our room (king) was spacious and very quiet and had a very comfortable bed.
“Everything you ever needed....”
Great hotel for our weekend visit. Right across the street from the Capital Mall, beautiful trees, fairly quiet. The hotel staff greeted us upon our arrival, very friendly, but not pushy. Tastefully decorated lobby, easy access to parking and the street. Arriving on our floor, clean hallways, very tasteful decor again. Loved our room, foyer entrance...you're not walking directly into sleeping area. Very comfortable beds with down comforters and an assortment of firmness pillows. Good desk area for working, good lighting. Great view out the window. Bathroom very clean with all the amenities. Will definetley stay again and will recommend it to others. One more thing about Sacramento....there are lots of great restaurants, pubs, sightseeing trips all within walking distance!
“Enjoyable Stay”
Great room, truly enjoyed my stay. Convenient location, easy to find good view. One of the best nights sleep I've had in months.
“Very nice”
Great hotel. Service was fantastic. Sunday brunch was great but there was some confusion about whether we ordered the "buffet" or the "brunch." Make sure your server is clear on this issue.
