“Outside tourist area treat for Americans!”

The Hotel Blu catered to an american exceptionally well considering the low cost of the room for a week. The staff is very helpful, the hotel is near local shopping which made replacing my lost luggage a breeze and the bathrooms are breathtaking.

“Rome, on a budget with creatures comforts.”

The Hotel was in a convient location, within the surburbs, requiring the use of the metro(which is easy enough) to visit the sights. The plus side of this is we experienced the 'real Rome' with great tasting pizza and ice-cream at a fraction of the prices compared to near the main attractions.

“Highly Recommend”

“Great Stay!”

This hotel choice was perfect for our needs! The entire staff was so helpful in every way. The location was a two minute walk to the bus stop to catch the metro into all the palces we wanted to see. We found Italy to be very fast paced and in a hurry so be ready to walk fast and not waste time to get on the metro because it will leave without you! The hotel provided a great breakfast with wonderful Italian lunchmeats,breads,fruits and the best espresso! Whenever we needed help with directions or information the entire staff made sure we were helped. There is a great restaurant a few blocks away that has the best dinners! Just be ready to understand and speak Italian because the menu is not in English and the waiters don't speak any. But don't let that stop you we went back again and brought our Italian dictionary and it was really easy. There is also a shopping mall down the street about a ten minute walk. This is a great place to stay for comfort and cleanliness!

“Great Hotel ! Very friendly service”

I recently stayd at this hotel in august 2007 and found it to be a well run,clean hotel with friendly staff who were always happy to help.It is very well situated which is great if your not in rome for long as the collosseum and vatican or only a short bus ride away or if u get a taxi it will cost about 10 - 12 euros . Also there is also a metro station (5 mins) away from the hotel which is cheap and easy to use. The hotel staff were very helpful as they provided us with great local knowledge and helpful advice. The rooms were very basic but comfortable .

“Great for tourists”

“ROME IS THE PLACE TO GO”

GREAT HOTEL maybe a bit far from the centre of Rome but if you get a 3 or 5 days pass on the metro-bus it's going to be good because the bus station is right across the hotel

“Will stay here again”

This hotel offers excellent value for the price. Getting into Rome was a short subway ride that let's you off right at the Coliseum, litterally. There is a shopping mall just down the street and the restaurant across the street is wonderful (order the fresh pasta - delicious!) Finding the hotel at night was challenging but not impossible. Look for the little signs on the street corners. Again, great place, one of the best hotels I stayed at in Italy. Oh, and the breakfast is decent too.
