It was like a little gem in the middle of rolling, green hills. Loved every bit of this charming space!"

"Nicely decorated, comfy beds walking distance to local bar. Sundays and Mondays many of the shops and things to do were closed, but we still found plenty to entertain us. The house had nice ammenities and we were even left a basket of goodies by the owner. The downstairs bathroom was a little tight with the cabinet in there. Plenty of pillows and blankets to snuggle with. We enjoyed listening to the records on the record player upstairs!"

Surrounded by a chorus of bird songs all day, lush greenery, hardly any traffic on the road in front of the house, we felt the stress melting away. The neighborhood seemed to be very nice also, but the yard area was not very inviting for sitting outside, although I do want to say that it appears the owners are in the process of making it more accommodating."

We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. In short we loved it all!"

"The Berkman is a very elegant property with a lot of amenities. Great for family stays, but the Berkman also offers a lot of business services. Wonderful friendly and helpful 24-hour staff. I have stayed at the Berkman many times and it’s always been a good experience. "
