"The hotel was close to the mall and restaurants."
The hotel is up the hill - and I enjoyed being out of the valley and overlooking the city from my room. The breakfast was fabulous, the room was comfortable, and had a desk for me to work on my laptop and prepare handouts.

"Wedding"
Very nice place to stay. Was a little hard to find since the Radisson is on top of the tall building and we did not see a ground level sign. Staff was very accommodating, we were able to check in early which was great so we had time to get ready for an afternoon wedding.

"Must get the king suite if you are near pool"
The room was spacious and comfortable, but the noise from the pool was pronounced. Luckily there is a door between the living area and the bedroom in the suite that did the trick. Or friends weren't as lucky as they did not have a suite. Their young kids were up until 11 pm due to the noise. The view of superior from our room was outstanding.

"Great hotel in a great location in a great city."
We (family) visited Duluth for 2 nights while passing through the area. We decided upon this hotel based off the good reviews we read about it. I would have to say we were very happy with our stay. The hotel was well maintained, both on the inside and out. The front desk staff were polite and willing to help us find our way around when we wanted to explore Duluth outside of Canal Park. The hotel also provides breakfast to it's guest. The food was always warm and kept full. Located downtown in Canal Park, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and things to do all within walking distance. The hotel is right next to the Aerial Lift Bridge and the Maritime Museum. We were able to see numerous 1000' ships come into the harbor (an impressive sight to see). The Duluth lakewalk takes you up the shore quite a ways. You can walk it or even rent bikes and ride it. We took the lakewalk beyond Fitgers to a small malt shop (Portland Malt Shoppe). That was worth the walk and by far the best malt I have ever had, hands down... You can also walk to downtown if you so choose. There are numerous other things to see all within the Canal Park area (Great Lakes Aquarium, SS William A Irvin, charter lake tours, convention center, etc...). We also visited Leif Erickson Park (rose gardens), accessible by the lakewalk and drove to Enger Park (very nice views from up there). When we come back to visit Duluth again, and we will, we would definitely check this hotel first.
