"Amazing views, clean room, staff was super attentive, they accommodated all our needs. Breakfast and dinner were spectacular!! Comfortable beds. The place is a dream!!"
"From the minute I arrived I knew this was a special place. The rooms and amenities were perfect and just as described. The staff was amazing. I will definitely stay there again!"
"Fantastic location - a little pricey but Positano is not that walkable due to the mountainside roads and this location was easy to access the waterside ferry system and restaurants as well as surrounding neighborhood. Of all places on our trip to Italy I would go back here!"
"The Hotel Montemare was a lovely property on the hills above downtown Positano. The staff could not have been more lovely. They greeted us every morning and evening when we entered and left the property. We especially enjoyed (and will miss) the expansive continental breakfast offerings and coffees and attentive service every morning on the beautiful veranda with gorgeous sea views.
Note that the foam beds were very firm which I did not find ideal for restful sleep."
"I am so pleased I chose this location. Close to shopping and dinning. Easier walk from ferry than most locations. Very very very clean and stylish. Staff was all very nice as well. "
"Our room was amazing! We were fortunate that we were offered an upgrade. We had a large balcony with amazing views. They bring your breakfast to your room which is a nice touch. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We loved our stay here! "

"Excellent stay in Positano. Up near the top of the hill so a bit out of the heavy tourist area. But a relatively easy walk back up the road from the beach. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great! We stayed in a family room which was plenty big enough for the four of us. Lovely balcony as well."

"Amazing property on the main road. Be sure to use the porter service for luggage as there are a lot of steps to go up/down to get to main port/beach/town. "
