The cottage is set in the village near to amenities. You only have to walk down the hill to the promenade which has 2 superb eating venues .the cottage is by 2 brilliant bus services to portland and Weymouth really easy .We had no problem parking just down the road. "The apartment was very clean and modern. It was great there is a washing machine which helped immensely. The beds are very comfortable. The only downside is unloading the car as you can’t park right outside but other than that it’s perfect. I would recommend. Thanks Helen for a great stay."

The property was very clean and the decor has that lovely seaside charm. It catered to all our needs and a travel cot was provided for young children. "Lovely situation at the edge of field and near the coast path. House was charming, bordering on quirky (please don't do it up!) and spotlessly clean with a lovely home from home feel to it. Not fancy, a bit old fashioned, it won't suit people who like hot tubs & underfloor heating, but we loved it. "It’s in a good location but the road that runs along side it, is a bit noisy. When the cars are quiet, you can hear the waves which is nice. It’s in a good location as Portland has some lovely, slightly challenging walks but it’s also a good position to drive to many other lovely locations. Water sports nearby, we didn’t use the facilities but they looked great. Parking was slightly tricky but managed to get a space with a bit of patience!"

"Sea View cottage is a really nice place, its in an excellent location for Chisel beach, local shops and the rest of Portland, which was one of our main considerations, In fact we even walked to Weymouth. There is an outside sitting area but due to the windy weather we decided not to use it. We visited in early November and made good use of the wood burning stove in the evenings for that really cosy feeling. The host made everything so easy and were very accommodation.
