Property Amenities
Zambra Grille serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, while cocktails, tapas, and other light fare are available in Agave Bar. Both offer outdoor terrace seating with mountain and golf-course views. In addition to an adjacent 18-hole golf course, guests enjoy an outdoor splash pool with spa tub and a well-equipped fitness center.
Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains' 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space includes a ballroom for 530 guests, with event catering and wireless Internet access available (surcharge). A business center provides printing, faxing, and copying (surcharges), as well as complimentary high-speed Internet access. Complimentary shuttle service is available within five miles upon request. Valet and self parking are complimentary.

The four-story hotel has 270 guest suites, all of which offer 575 square feet of space. Guestrooms feature Marriott's Revive Collection bedding: 300-thread-count cotton linens with white-and-beige design; down comforter (bedspread) with cotton cover, freshly laundered for each guest; six down pillows, including bolster; and a separate mattress topper. Anichini Italian throws are included.
Other amenities include high-speed Internet access (surcharge), wet bars, three dual-line telephones, compact refrigerators, coffeemakers, and complimentary weekday newspapers. Marble bathrooms include separate showers and tubs and one bathrobe; additional robes are available upon request. Many rooms have balconies or patios with mountain and golf-course views.
Dining
Zambra Grille - Serving Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, this lobby restaurant offers indoor or outdoor dining on a terrace overlooking the adjacent golf course and McDowell Mountains. Open for buffet and à la carte breakfast, as well as à la carte lunch and dinner.
Agave Bar - Adjacent to Zambra Grille, this bar serves tapas and other light fare from late morning until late evening.
Recreation
Guests enjoy a large outdoor splash pool with spa tub and a modern fitness room with flat-screen TVs on cardiovascular machines, free weights, and strength-training equipment.
Adjacent to the hotel, the Tournament Players Club offers two 18-hole championship golf courses, a driving range, and a clubhouse. Three miles away, Grayhawk Golf Club has two 18-hole courses, a driving range, clubhouse, pro shop, and golf school.

“Great suite rooms with hotel feel”
I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was - the lobby and dining area/bar were very attractive. The setting is quite pretty. The rooms are very spacious suites and nicely decorated. It's right near TPC Scottsdale golf which was great for us. The noise from the nearby scottsdale airport is really minimal -- only small planes going in and out and didn't seem like very many. I would definitely stay there again.

“What a stay!”
This is by far the nicest Marriott I've ever been to. I've avoided staying at most Marriotts in the past due to poor service, but this far exceeded my expectations in both service and quality. We will definitely be returning to the Marriott McDowell Mountains.
“Truly underrated! Beautiful, very clean, and helpful staff”
I live in the local area and was looking for a nice hotel for a weekend mother-daughter getaway. The hotel lived up to its website and even impressed my pre-teen! It was beautiful inside and out - a true 4 star! The room was amazing - a decent sized suite in which we could comfortably hang out in the sitting area and close the frosted-pane french doors to the bedroom if desired. It was beautifully decorated, up-to-date and clean! This was the first hotel that I felt comfortable sitting on the floor! That says alot! The staff was readily available and friendly. The pool table on the back patio was a fun surprise! The only slight negative was that the bed was not the most comfortable I've slept in, but it didn't keep us awake, and my daughter didn't like the soap. But I'd come back in a heartbeat!

Attractive setting. Splendid suite. Prompt attention to an air conditioning problem when reported late in the evening. Gracious, friendly staff. Good food and very convenient location.
“What an Awesome Hotel!”
This hotel was beautiful, quiet, great wine list, great service. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The rooms were quiet, clean and very comfortable. The pool was clean and cool.

Very nice hotel for the price we paid! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and everything worked perfectly. Great location close to golf, shopping, and eating. Very nice pool and fitness facility.
“Can't wait to go back”
Wonderful service and upon asking us why we were staying and learning for our anniversary they sent us a wine and cheese plate to congratulate us. The room service was extremely fast and the bed was luxurious.
“Awesome”
We are frequent guests at this hotel and LOVE how there's separate living and sleeping areas as well as a wet bar. The rooms have even been redone w great colors and design as well as large flat screen tv's in both rooms. We stay at resorts all over Scottsdale and this is one of our favorites for sure. May have a smaller pool than some resorts but the rooms make up for it. Great staff as well. Got us and end room right where we wanted to be and couldn't have been happier.
“Comfort at a reasonable price in Scottsdale”
We were pleased with our suite. It was roomy and comfortable. This was our 6th hotel on a 2 week trip and it was the roomiest and most comfortable accommodations of the trip. The lobby was nice with plenty of seating areas. The bed was very nice. My husband was quite unhappy about the high charge for internet connections from the room. This was the only hotel we went to that charged extra for this. I thought there could have been free coffee in the lobby instead of the Starbucks which had a long slow line. We had a problem with the toilet and TV and a maintenance person came and took carer of it immediately.
