"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect!
The entire place is immaculately kept. The sweeping garden was a great place to chill out by the bank of the river as well as the delightful heated pool which was used many times during our stay!
Cottages are very well equipped with everythjng you could need for a short or...
"A beautiful setting, wonderful old but modernised building. Staff very good and polite. Breakfast excellent.
Lively quiet location with lots of scenic walks. "
"The staff truly make you feel welcome. The reception staff, housekeeping and restaurant personnel were all very pleasant and genuinely seemed interested to ensure our stay was memorable. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The shower pressure wasn’t the best but adequate. The buffet breakfast was excellent and requesting vegetarian sausages was no problem and supplied in no time. However I was not a fan of the overnight parking charge for residing guests. I was equally...
"Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, only downside was the lorries parked not far from our window and starting up during the night.
Other than that very clean and comfortable, we would stay again but get a room in a different location of the hotel."
"The owner has to do the school run but leave her number on the door so you don’t have to wait long.
She is really professional, polite and welcoming.
Room was comfy and quite with a fridge and microwave in room which is a bonus for longer stays.
No parking but a car park is situated 2 mins away and £6.10 for 24hrs is a good rate. Also paid by phone so you don’t have to worry about tickets on dashboard.
Excellent Chinese takeaway a few doors down very reasonably priced.

"Staff on reception were very warm and welcoming. Lovely room. Nice and spacious, little underwhelmed by the bath as the button to operate the jets wasn’t working properly. Would have been nice to have Netflix on the TV too!"

"I had a great stay at The Bull, the hotel looks lovely and elegant when you walk in. The staff are helpful and pleasant and my room was great. It was large and had a desk and computer chair, which was a welcome addition as I was attending for work.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the best hash browns I’ve ever had! One thing to note, the breakfast is £12 if ordered in the evening and this goes up to £15 in the morning so make sure you opt in ahead of time if you’re looking to have breakfast there."
