"I enquired about an upgrade to include free valet parking and was told it was not included. Later, after my 1 night stay I received an email from Expedia, stating I was entitled to free valet parking. This was disappointing "
"I loved the view and the feel of the hotel, it was a real escape and just wonderful.
I didnt love that i couldnt lock the fly screen doors so i could have the glass sliding doora open, being on the bottom floor i didnt feel safe. "
"Fraser Suites is well located with bus transport to the city and the airport. There is a supermarket in walking distance. Parks are nearby for walking. Our accommodation was a studio suite and was well appointed with cooking facilities a small dishwasher and spacious. We would have liked a couch rather than the one chair. The pillow menu information on the bed needs to be upgraded as the 4 pillows supplied were terrible. The carpet needs to be either cleaned or replaced as it was stained in...
"We had a sunrise view 1 bedroom upstairs overlooking the harbour we sat on balcony watching dolphins playing, it was beautiful
Walking distance to restaurants, breweries shops beach perfect location really
Only drawback there’s no pool "
"Friendly and simple check-in, went to a restaurant in the casino for something to eat (Mothers Day, so all bookable restaurants in the complex were full), show at Crown Theatre in the evening, good breakfast the following morning, easy check-out."
"I admit I chose to stay in the Duxton because I used to work there 40 years ago when it was the tax office. My desk was on the 11th floor so I asked for a room on the 11th floor which I got! Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff, particularly Sara at reception. She is a real asset to the business. Give her a pay rise!"
"A beautiful and secluded resort with great views of the golf greens. The facilities and staff were great. The room service was quick, and the rooms were spacious.
The walls/doors seem fairly thin as I could hear noisey children early in the morning. Cold water wasn’t easily available without buying it, and even when directed to use a vending machine for cold water, there was none available.
Apart from that, the pool was nice and relaxing and the spa services had great variety and I considered...
"Got there late but was no issue because of 24/7 check in. Really comfortable beds clean and tidy room very spacious. Breakfast was amazing and staff were very polite and friendly."

The pillow menu information on the bed needs to be upgraded as the 4 pillows supplied were terrible. The carpet needs to be either cleaned or replaced as it was stained in many places. The daily cleaning was very good even if they did forget to replace coffee and toilet paper several times over the week we stayed. We had a view over the river which was wonderful. Beautiful in the morning to see the rowers on the river and at night to see the lights. The front desk staff were friendly and polite at all times we spoke with any of them. We would be very happy to stay here again in the the future as the location near transport and the parks is a bonus rather than the noise of inner CBD."
