Great for families
We brought our family of 5 plus a grandma to Palm Springs. The house served our family well. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. The beds were comfortable and big. The neighborhood is only so so, Not much to walk to. There is definitely airport noise being only a mile away and you can hear the arterial street next to the master bedroom but it didn’t detract from the house. There was a clogged shower drain and VACASA sent a handyman over quickly. Overall we really liked the house and especially the backyard. Beautiful landscaping.

Beautiful Home & Location/Terrible Communication
We were visiting Palm Springs for a friend getaway and this house was perfect for our stay - very clean, roomy, pool and hot tub and beautiful landscape. Great location as well - close to downtown, walkable to the vintage market on the weekends. However, the lack of communication with the property management company, Vacasa, made the stay stressful and frustrating and because of that I wouldn’t recommend staying in a home that is run by them. My experience was chasing them down for questions and notifications THEY required (ex: heated pool). Completed the complicated check in process minutes before our check in time chasing them down for answers and check in information. Every person I spoke with at Vacasa (and it was about 8 people in 48 hrs) told me different information and made it very confusing. If you can get around the frustrating communication it was a really beautiful property. But again, not worth it in my opinion because the communication process (or lack therof) made for a stressful trip.

Awesome but kinks
Prior to leaving i had confirmed twice that the pool would be heated. When Vacasa called to confirm who I was, he confirmed that it was paid for and would be heated. When we arrived, it had not been turned on. This was the main reason we rented this property. I called the number listed at the house. Todd helped me, at first he gave me attitude, but eventually was helpful. There was no payment on file. Todd stated that i would only have to pay for 2 days instead of three. Spoke to Rod and he was very helpful. He assisted me get thru the process to get the Ipad to control the pool/spa. I would suggest making this process simpler. Just put it in a locked closet instead of the current process. Rod had a great sense of humor as I told him it seemed like we were on a treasure hunt. The back sprinklers were going off many times during the night and day. Kids couldn’t play in yard as it was flooded. Eventually owner turned these off remotely. Todd also had to reset the pool/spa equipment twice. The heater wasn’t turning on. The property is wonderful. So nice to see great cooking supplies. The pool and spa are awesome too. It doesn’t seem that many people have stayed at the property and kinks need to be worked out. It was raining really hard the morning we left. The patio area was flooding from the overflow of the rain chime. I sent Todd a picture and he sent me back a thank you. I would have preferred not to have to contact Vacasa during my stay let alone over 5 times.

Christmas in Palm Springs
This home was absolutely wonderful. The pictures did not fully capture the peacefulness and serenity this property provided to our family. The floor plan was awesome and provided ample space for our family. The backyard was amazing although we didn't use the pool/jacuzzi. It was a bit cold outdoors so we opted not to partake. I definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, well-appointed home away from home.

Long weekend with family and friends
We had an amazing 4days at Palm Springs. Despite of the heat we could still enjoy our stay. The pool was great, the water’s temperature was just perfect and refreshing. The house is beautiful, it was clean and well equipped. The check-in process was very easy and straight-forward.

Read the Fine Print Regarding the Pool
Overall the property would have worked out well but the listing was not straightforward. We booked our stay with another couple largely because of the pool, hot tub, and yard for our 4 kiddos (all under 3). When we showed up the pool and hot tub were freezing cold so we read the instructions on how to heat the pool which stated it takes about 45 minutes to heat up but didn't have the code to do so. We then reached out to Vacasa they informed us that there was an additional daily charge for heat and it would take 48 hours to fully heat up plus they need a 24 hour notice. Nothing was ever mentioned about this charge when we booked nor was their an option to pay for it then but we were told it was in the booking confirmation email packet. Turns out there's one sentence in the middle of a like a 3 or 4 page PDF that says it takes up to 24 hours to heat the pool and the host needs 24 hours notice. In any case we agreed to pay the additional daily charge because it would still give the kids a couple days with warm water even if it took 48 hours instead of the 45 minutes the home instructions say. Upon agreeing to pay Vacasa they called and said they'd need to confirm with their manager about the request so I waited. When they called back I was told our request to heat the pool was denied because we didn't put in the request 72 hours prior to our arrival. So between the confirmation email packet, the home instructions, Vacasa, VRBO booking, and the manager who got involved, heating the water could take 45 minutes (home instructions), 24 hours (email), or 48 hours (Vacasa) and there's no need to put in a request because there's no mention of it (VRBO), you have to give 24 hours notice (email), you have to request 48 hours prior to your arrival (Vasasa help person)l, or you have to request 72 hours before your arrival (Vacasa manager). On top of not being able to use the pool or hot tub we were charged for a pool service fee. Needless to say, it was very frustrating and disappointing.
