“Hotel for a weekend stay”
Overall is a nice place to stay for a weekend. There is a Tim Horton close by just in case you miss the continental breadfast, which is not too bad. Try to retun early so that you can get a parking spot at night. The room is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed there twice now and both times were incidents free.
“Good quality for the money”
Helpful staff. Appreciated the computer in the lobby. Will definitely use this place again. Decent continental breakfast as well
“Look for another place that's cheaper and better”
The staff were nice and helpful for the a hundred bucks I would expect more or at least a better breakfast which is only toast, cereal and coffee. None of it was good, so don't expect Bacon and Eggs here...for that go to the Dragon Fly Cafe just outside of town on Hwy 6. That places is AMAZING! The heater works fine, but the rooms/building has an odd musty smell and the shower is hit and miss with regards to decent pressure and temperature that is often either too hot or cold. Never a comfortable warmth. There was ice all over and it was slippery, but no one removed the slow or salted...very dangerous. There is a Tim Horton's close by and the location in the town is pretty good, but there are better and cheaper places to stay. This place would be okay at half the price, but otherwise...pick another one.
“Not the best”
Room so so (did not stain on blanket), but on first night there, had to put in a complaint about someone smoking so much dope that it was smelled heavily in hallway. It was taken care of by front desk. Could hear everything from both rooms beside us, clearly. Continental breakfast - not the greatest and coffee not replenished even when lots of breakfast time left. Same with food they had. Could be more variety of it and more of it. At least there was a Tim Hortins close by. I would not stay there again even though the location was convenient and the individuals working there were helpful and pleasant.
“Not Impressed”
The complimentary breakfast was disappointing. Also no elevators. Beds not very comfortable.
