"Well, with so many high ratings already, it’s hard to top some of the other reviews about this property. We enjoyed every moment of our trip and this property didn’t disappoint. We are avid snorkelers. We’ve been to most of the Caribbean islands focused on some of the best snorkeling sites we could find. Roatan was one of our last remaining stops that we had high expectations for the water experience. During our stay, we enjoyed the snorkeling directly out from the house, we also took advantage of being next door to Clearwater Diving, and did several tag-alongs and excursions. The coral was in fantastic shape and we had some amazing adventures. Don’t miss out on the night snorkels, the bioluminescence was wild! We also had the opportunity to meet Sarah and it was a pleasure. She was very helpful and accommodating (as well as Mary the house manager!). They hooked us up with Big John for our taxi rides, and we even spent a day with him and his boys on an excursion. He is the best! The house is all you’d hope for. It was comfortable, relaxing and perfectly located. No need to continue to search, if it’s available, book it! You won’t be disappointed and the views are amazing. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked. Be sure to book Dixie for a homemade meal at the house. We asked for Baleadas (not on her normal menu) and they were great, only regret was we didn’t have her cook her other dishes while we were there (gives us another reason to go back!)"

"Gorgeous brand new property! Beautiful beach with ample beach chairs. Delicious included breakfast with lots of choices (banana pancakes, bacon and eggs, traditional Honduran breakfast, chia bowl etc). Craft cocktails with fresh ingredients. A hot outdoor shower by the pool. Those are a few of the things I loved about Arca. Also, it never felt busy or crowded. Arca is a quiet oasis nestled amongst the bustling activity surrounding the resort, giving us the best of both worlds. Close to the action but also an escape from the music and noise nearby. The staff are friendly and kind. The beds are comfy and the AC is nice and cold. Our beachfront junior suite had a huge bathroom with a nice hot shower with lots of water pressure. The only slight issue was at checkout: there was a charge attributed to our room that did not belong to us. I had to stand there, being made to feel like I did something wrong, while they looked into it. It was not my mistake. They did not apologize for the inconvenience or embarrassment. So I left on a slightly bad note but I will chalk their reaction up to realizing they had lost money through someone else’s mistake or perhaps another guests dishonesty. But it should have been handled better with an apology at the very least for the mixup. It won’t stop me from returning but this was something that deserves mention. Overall we loved Arca and highly recommend it as a more elevated place to stay in West Bay! "

"This West Bay resort is centrally located on a gorgeous stretch of beach. The restaurant on site has daily food and drink specials. The included breakfast was good. (Choice of ham and cheese omlette, two eggs with your choice of meat, fruit bowl, pancakes or traditional Honduran breakfast). Coffee, tea and juice included. We had room 4 which is one of the cottages behind the dive shop. It was clean and had two comfy queen size beds. The bathroom is small but fine. Lack of Water pressure in the shower was the only slight complaint but we managed. You can vaugely hear the clanging of the dive tanks starting around 7 am but it wasn’t too bad. The room had a cute porch with two chairs and a hammock. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. And a huge jug (20 Litres at least!) of bottled water. The beach in front of the resort has the boats coming and going. Ample beach chairs for guests. Beach towels are provided. The dive shop was great. I dove with them 5 times! Amazing team. "

"Our stay Las Verandas was an incredible experience! My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and feel like we hit the jackpot. The property is located on a private road and away from the main tourist areas, but only a 30 minute ride to places like West End or Mohagany Bay if you’re looking for a fun night out. It was really nice to have the option to go out and socialize in town but then come back to the sounds of crashing waves and native birds. A true oasis. The property is gorgeous and well-maintained, the rooms are stunning with high-end amenities, comfortable bedding and mattresses, amazing pool options, and an awesome restaurant! But the best part of our stay was the staff. Everywhere we went on the property, staff went out of their way to check on us, speak to us, and give us recommendations for things to do on our first trip to Roatan. I can’t wait to return and actually check out these recommendations, but for this trip we were so content with the service and luxury of Las Verandas that we hardly left the property. I am already looking into booking our next stay later this year. Do not miss your chance to stay at Las Verandas! "
