“Clean and good service hotel”
Clean room and good service staffs. It was a good staying experience.
“Came for STS9 at the Fox, Super Comfy Beds!”
We were in Oakland for the STS9 show on 4/21/12 at the Fox a few blocks down the road. Not only were the staff super cool, despite the fact that we were obviously there to RAGE, but they helped us find the Trappist (a belgian bar a few blocks away). My favorite thing about this hotel were the beds. Me and my buddy go to a lot of shows together and we both agreed that the beds at this place were top notch after a night of raging at the STS9 show. The other great feature is that check out is not until NOON!!!!

Stayed here to go to a concert at the fox theatre (teancious d!) We would stay here again anytime! Clean room and great service. Good location in Oakland and totally safe and secure building. I highly recommend! We will be back for sure! There was a little farmers market across the street also.
“Top Value for your dollar...”
Clean, safe and convenient. Walk to the historic Paramount Theater, Oakland Chinatown, Jack London Square and only a couple of blocks from a main BART station. The help was excellent and I liked their beds better than mine at home!

“Oakland Worth Visiting”
This was a one-day overnight side trip from San Francisco. Oakland has plenty to offer for a quick trip or weekend away and this hotel is a lovely part of the experience. It is conveniently located. The staff is friendly and efficient. The grounds and room are clean and pleasing to look at.

I was happy wih my experience with The Couryard Marriott in Oakland. Most impressive was the honesty and concern of the Hostess in the restaurant. Unknown to me, I accidentally received someone else's breakfast bill that was more than what mine should have been - it was added to my room bill. I thought it was too expensive for breakfast, but was short on time to question it, I just didn't return the next day, and went elsewhere. On the third day I did return, for convenience sake. The hostess immediately came up to me and told me of the mistake - she had already corrected it on my room bill. I told her that was why I didn't return on the second day. I was most impressed with this fine, young lady for taking the time to make the correction whether I was returning or not, and I also had not asked for it. This is the kind of employees one wants to keep - the hostess, the valets, the front desk ladies, and the housekeeping personnel who kept my room so nice, are all assets. Thank you very much for such a pleasant stay.

We have never had any complaints about the Marriot Courtyard. That's why we will always stay there when we are in Oakland, CA. The breakfasts are great. The room was always fresh and clean. The personell always polite and helpful.
