“Great resort! Great location!”
We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time there. The rooms were very big and it had a full-size kitchen with all the amenities "even though we didn't cook any meals while we were there". I slept better there then I do at home. We were on the 13th floor but we didn't hear much noise from the streets. Overall I had a great experience there and I will definitely be back again.
“Great Hotel and location.”
Everything about this hotel was perfect. The room was everything we expected plus more. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of everything we needed and wanted to do. The staff was very nice and helpful to us.
“excellent accomodations!”
we stayed in rm 902, which had a great view of the ala wai yacht harbor and ala moana beach. service was superb from valet parking attendants, bell boys, security, pool attendant. rollie and kent provided exemplary customer service in the shell vacations office. they were professional and accommodating. lobby is beautiful, and the market downstairs has local food in the fridge. bc/we opted for the "green" program during our 8-day stay, we were given a discount and a $10 ABC gift card. when i asked about foregoing the towel/sheet change midweek, they gave us another $10 ABC gift card. we also got about 8 coupons for free cups of coffee at the mt kaala cafe downstairs. we also used the coupon book they gave us at the harbor pub for pizza, which was a nice break from the ono, yet much-desired local island fare (i'm originally from hawaii). we made use of the fully equipped kitchen. the a/c automatically turns off when you open the lanai doors - great idea. the shower had a nice hand-held shower head, and there was lots of shampoo, etc, including whatever you may have forgotten to pack (i asked for a razor and they sent up a couple right away w/pkts of shaving cream). it's an easy 2" walk down a ramp in the back of the hotel to the adjacent hilton hawaiian village's lagoon. though man-made, it's really nice for a swim - kent said that ocean water is pumped into it 8 xs/day - i saw fish in there! and you can get anything at ABC across the street at good prices!
“Great Stay in Waikiki”
Waikiki Marina Resort is in Ilikai Hotel which is the first stop of all tour. You get a chance to choose a better seating while you are joining a tour. Also for bus, trolley, the stop is right in front the hotel. Really convenience for everything. And I love the kitchen with all appliance which you can prepare some easy breakfast or snack.
“Awesome Place”
It was terrific. Loved the fact that it came with a kitchen. Plus, Lost was filmed here as well.
“Great for families with young kids”
Nicely located, very welcoming, convenient for families (2 double beds + sofa bed), too bad we were in the street side, not the sea side (missed the view)! Could have more chairs also. Kitchen is very convenient, especially for breakfast and to avoid going out to restaurants every night or to be able to pack a healthy lunch. Valet parking, though $25, is great. Will definitely go back!
“SUPERB”
Everything from check in to check out was great. The room smelled good and was very clean, also the cleaning staff was AWESOM. I have to hand it to valet personal was great ,believe me they are honest to with is very hard to find. Look know farther, this place is GREAT,GREAT,AND GREAT......... Thanks The Hoopers
“We enjoyed our stay in Hawaii”
We read a lot of reviews, and finally decided on the Waikiki Marina Resort because it looked nice, was right there on the water, and of all the reviews we did not read any issues with cockroaches etc. It was a very nice hotel. Our room was very clean. Housekeeping took excellent care of us. The customer service was wonderful. They showed us places on the island we might have missed. I would stay at the Waikiki Marina Resort again if the opportunity ever presents itself. The one negative thing we read about the hotel was the long wait for the elevators. We had no problems with that, from what I understand they are fixed. Hawaii was wonderful!!
“Very enjoyable hotel”
We enjoyed very much our stay at the waikiki Marina Resort and will choose it again for our next visit to Hawaii. The hotel is very pleasant, close to the beach, and has a very couteous staff.
“Nothing to complain about”
This is a great choice if you're looking for an affordable place that is near everything (shopping mall, restaurants, 1 block away from the beach, gym, nightlife, etc)
