Recreation
Hotel guests are a three-block stroll from Waikiki Beach, where surfing, kayaking, and boogie boarding lessons and equipment rentals are available. “wonderful experience”
the hotel was wonderful and the staff were helpful and friendly especially the sweet woman who cleaned our room for 5 out of 6 days. She was wonderful and respected our privacy. the only thing we would have liked to have had in our room was a microwave and it would have been good to have been able to access the internet without a charge. Most of the hotels we have stayed with over the last few years have had a free internet computer in the lobby and only ask that we limit our time on the computer so that others could enjoy it, too.
“Just a short walk to the Beach!”
It was a lovely hotel. They were over booked so we got upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. That was a nice perk. Rooms are very nice, staff was very helpful with directions and providing info on transportion around Hawaii. Just a short walk to the beach and shopping.
“Good Size”
I've stayed in several different hotels in Waikiki and this one by far had the most room and the best comfort level.
“Great place to stay for a great price!!!”
We stayed just one night and one day here because we got on a cruise the next day but I would go back and spend a week there. We had the bedroom plus kitchnette with the front room which had two bed/couchs. it was perfect for our family of four! All of the people were wonderful. We had breakfast at IHOP which is housed in the hotel. Kinda expensive but the hotel give you a coupon book with all Waikiki coupons including 10 or 15% off at IHOP.
“The perfect place to stay”
Close to everything a great place for a younger crowd close to a lot of nightlife. Very friendly staff. I've already stayed here twice.
“A very appealing waikiki hotel”
If you're looking for a very adequate place to stay at waikiki, this hotel offers a very comfortable, clean environment without all of the amenities that the 4 star hotels and higher prices offer.
“Malia is The Best”
I highly recommmend the Ohana Malia. The room was excellent and the staff were supurb -- very friendly and always helpful. Location is good -- an easy walk to the beach or shopping. The Ohana Connection package was very helpful -- especially the free wireless internet, free first 15 minutes of all long distance calls and the free Waikiki Trolley rides. I will definely stay at this hotel again next year and would highly recommend it to other travellors.

“Good hotel, would stay again”
Room had everything needed for a quick stay. Fridge was handy to have. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was kept very clean. Would definately go back and stay again. Great hotel for price concious travellers!
“great hotel for the price”
my wife stayed here for our anniversary and were very impressed. clean comfy room. decent view. the hotel staff were polite and courteous. keep in mind your only there to sleep and shower. its no 5 star, but it fit our exact needs. highly recommended. our only complaint is how much they charge for hotel parking. way too much. we rented a car until we found out how much the parking was. a car really isnt necessary. public transportation (bus) was great for sight seeing, reasonablly priced, and informative. just ask the drivers, real helpful. our best vacation ever
