"Beautiful little mountain town. Long (owner) was very responsive to any concerns. We were anticipating 3 bathrooms and only 2. Kitchen chairs were unstable and coming apart at joints. Not very clean but we also checked in early due to arriving early from overnight flight from US."

"Wir brauchten für die externen Prüfungstage eine Unterkunft, in die wir auch unseren Hund mitbringen können - das ist in Hotels nie so einfach. Daher haben wir uns für den Waldcampingplatz entschieden - auch wenn er etwas weiter entfernt war.....es hat uns hier sehr gefallen, alles war ordentlich. Was etwas ungünstig war, ist dass in den Tinyhäusern kein WLAN vorhanden ist und meine Tochter noch online lernen musste - aber auch diese Thematik konnte schnell gelöst werden. Jeder Zeit wieder...

"This house was great for my family and I to stay while visiting Nuremberg. Communication was clear and fast with a reply. The house was beautiful and had plenty of space to spread out and have a good time. The garden area and upper balcony were bonuses and nice to sit out with a coffee or beer to enjoy the day. I read some other reviews about stains or broken furniture but we did not see any problems. The coffee machine was perfect for coffee when desired. I will buy one in the near future. If...

"The town of Betzenstein is a quaint village. It was very quiet and picturesque. Renee was very friendly and answered each and every one of our questions in detail. Our 4 bedroom unit, Belle Etage, was spacious with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of storage space. Facility had a laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers; much needed since we traveled for 3 weeks in Germany. This unit was 20 steps up from the street level. Plenty of on street parking. "The unit is in an older building (dating to 1904), but you couldn't tell from the state of the inside. Everything was modern and quite tasteful. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Far enough outside of town to be in a quiet area, but close enough in that around a 20 minute drive will get you to the tourist areas of downtown Nuremburg. "Unfortunately, we cannot review this as a pleasant stay. The communication with the host was difficult. Clear check in instructions were not sent. I texted the host and didn’t get a reply, called and no answer. She did finally answer on my second phone call. We reserved this home for a party of 8, however there were only 4 towels provided for showers. The middle floor bathroom shower didn’t drain and we had to constantly turn off the shower to keep it from overflowing all over the floor. The hot...

"Wir kennen Betzenstein seit Jahrzehnten. Leider gibt es inzwischen nur wenige erschwingliche Unterkünfte dort. Das Ferienhaus an der Hauptstraße ist eine der wenigen. Wir haben dies genutzt und waren es zufrieden. Doch wurden wir explizit vom Besitzer darauf hingewiesen: "Dies ist kein Hotel, man muss daher schon vorsorgen." Grund: Während der Osterfeiertage war uns das Toilettenpapier ausgegangen und wir hatten ihn darum gebeten. Der Besitzer hat uns dann doch damit ausgeholfen..."
