"The property was beautiful, in a great location. The surrounding area was amazing and we got so lucky with the weather. The Bay View & the Stag were great pubs and the chippy directly opposite was a god-send on arrival. The facilities at the property were more than sufficient, more than enough of everything. "It’s a castle . In itself that delivers a degree of grandiosity. Very impressive elements of period decor and artifacts on display . Parking was fine on multiple days . Town is a short walk down the drive . Peacocks everywhere, you won’t miss them . A very pleasant place to stay "
