"We had driven down from Sacramento to take a day tour at Yosemite. It was lovely to arrive to such a welcoming space and rest up for our tour. The cookies left were amazing. After our tour it was wonderful to retire and relax after a very busy day to prepare for our return to Sacramento. A nice getaway weekend."

"Serenity home is so peaceful. The view is absolutely beautiful. The home is very spacious. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. The kitchen is spacious and plenty of cooking pans and utensils. There are several patio areas, all with a beautiful view. The kids also loved that there were books in the room and they loved the hammock in the back area."

"The place was cute. It took awhile to warm up. My main issue was that it snowed and we got stuck in the driveway. We are on vacation and did not want to be cooped up in the room. It took us an hour to find a shovel and an hour to shovel the driveway. We should not be having to do this during our stay, this was very disappointing. If anything, we should have been compensated for all that work. When I made a suggestion to the contact person about having that service since we had to do all the shoveling, she said we will keep that in mind. "

"We booked this property for Thanksgiving. We had 7 adults and 6 children in our party. Check-in was frustrating. The instructions on how to get into the home were unclear, and 2 couples spent over 40 minutes trying to get into the home at check-in time. There were not enough cooking utensils to cook a large Thanksgiving dinner. In addition to that, Vacasa, the property manager, decided that 2 kitchen towels and 1 roll of paper towels were enough for 13 people for a 4 night stay. When I reached out to a Vacasa representative to complain about how little standard equipment and supplies were given, I was told via text that it never said in the listing that Vacasa supplies those types of supplies and that we should have assumed that we would have to bring our own paper towels, and possibly more toilet paper. This is outrageous, especially as this property was advertised to host up to 14 people, and we were staying for 4 nights! The upstairs bathroom light was burned out and the toilet wasn’t working so we couldn’t use it. The toilet started leaking into the kitchen; there was a puddle of toilet water leaking from the kitchen ceiling onto the kitchen floor. The hot tub was not on when we arrived. It took 36 hours to heat up, and it hadn’t been cleaned. The water looked like pond water. It was clear that Vacasa made no attempt to make sure this amenity was ready and available for us. There were many other issues; we’d never recommend this property or any other managed by Vacasa."

"It was mostly a comfortable experience except the air conditioner in the master bedroom was shaky and making a lot of noise. The backyard is not maintained, looks nothing like the picture. The rooms are clean, everything works as expected (except the A/C mentioned above). Overall it was a good stay, I'd recommend it if you want to have a weekend getaway from big cities. "

"My family loved our time here. We were traveling with my parents and 2 kids. The scenery, endless privacy and views of the mountains made us feel that intimate connection with nature. My parents loved their early morning walks around the property. They got to try their hands at ping-ping and pool, which was a new fun experience for them. The kids loved jamming on the piano, and the elder one put on a performance for us-those violin classes finally paying off :-). My husband and elder daughter went down the creek trail. She said this was the most lively adventure she has done-hiking, climbing over big boulders, dipping her toes in the cool water, she loved it all. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, and the large dining table accommodated us easily. We spent our evening lounging on the very comfortable outdoor sofas, while enjoying the sunset views. The outdoor games-ladder toss, frisbee toss and cornhole were so much fun for all of us. Bass lake was a short 15 min drive. We rented a boat for few hours, and just chilled there. Host gave us great recommendations on local activities and sight-seeing options. We would highly recommend this home and the hosts, and would be booking again for sure :-)"
