"Great place to stay! Indoor and outdoor pools would be great for young family. We enjoyed the whirlpool and the pools as well. Loved people watching and listening to the waves from our balcony. One car free parking was an extra bonus and even a 7eleven across the street for snacks! If you’re a Naval buff, the trip to Nauticus in Norfolk was an easy trip from the hotel."

"Highly recommend this resort! This is our second time back. The first time, we stayed at the sister tower “Ocean Beach Club.” Both resorts were WONDERFUL! Truly great for a family as they have two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, and an adult pool/spa for those looking for a quieter pool experience. "My experience was fair, the room was dated, worn curtains, rugs appeared dirty and highly stained, a few bugs roaming. The balcony door was difficult to open, but with force gain entry to the balcony. The towels worn, didn't appear to be cleaned. Overall okay for one night stay. Upon check out I spoke with agent who shared this hotel/resort will be torn down, and replaced hotel by Marriott grand opening in 2020.
