Situated in the heart of Nice in the pedestrian area and only two steps from the beach the “hotel de Suède” welcomes you with its new facade in the typical colors of Nice and its entirely refitted and re-decorated rooms in winter 2010/2011.All our rooms are equipped with bath or shower, WC, individual air condition, direct dial telephone, safety box, satellite television channels.New in the rooms: TV flat screen, WiFi access, hair dryer, very good isolation by double glazing windows.The Hotel de Suède, formerly Hotel Harvey, offers now a superior three star accommodation and remains open the whole year.The situation of the hotel allows you to reach in only a few minutes the beach, the Promenade des Anglais, the old town, place Massena and it takes you only 4 stops in tram to get to the convention center Acropolis. Our multilingual staff will propose you a large choice of restaurants and shops and will welcome you in a familiar and warm ambience.

“Excellent hotel choice in superb location.”
This is a very clean and tidy, modern and friendly hotel. It is in an excellent location for walking access to the old town and the new town centres. It is very close to bus stops for the airport, which makes it ideal for airline travellers. We had a superior grade room for a small extra charge. We were there for Carnival week and the whole stay was outstanding. The hotel does not have its own restaurant on the premises but is related to one just across the street, breakfast is available in the hotel. The recent renovations have made this a very worthwhile choice. In our opinion the location of the hotel could not be better for walking access to all parts of Nice and equally easy access to trains and buses.
“Lovely and close to the beach!”
We picked this hotel based on good reviews and location. We stayed there for only one wonderful night due to our tight schedule going to other countries. We were in a very clean, tidy and quiet triple room. Walking distance to lots of attractions especially restaurants and the beach! The reception staff was very friendly. We check out and were able to leave our suitcases in the lobby while we went sightseeing before our scheduled train trip. We really enjoyed the short stay! We will definitely stay there again next time we visit Nice!
“Simple but pleasant”
Very simple, but clean and comfortable, hotel in a central and convenient location. The staff were pleasant, but do not provide any "extras". Skip the breakfast. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive, no-frills place to stay.
“Very Good Location”
The Hotel du Duede was both easy to find after getting offo of the public bus from the airport and also an ideal base for a holiday. Convenient to shops, restaurants, bars and local transport links to the surrounding areas including Monaco. If you are a light sleeper then the rooms at the front may be a bit noisy but I woulkd definitely use this hotel again if I revisited Nice. Plenty of nearby alternatives for breakfast rather than paying the Euros a the hotel. For Monaco, take the train. The buses are small and overcrowded and can take an hour to get there whereas it's 20 minutes by rail (although the train station is a little bit further away than the bus stops). The trams are also very good for getting up and down the main drag in the centre of Nice.
“Perfect location.”
You cannot find a better location to enjoy all the flavors of Nice at this price.
“Best location in Nice”
It's a 3 star hotel as officially rated, but I would give it 3.5 - location is absolutely superb. I found its much better located that Negreco, Meridien, Suess. It's literally 5-7 min walk from old town, 3 min to tram stop, and 2 tram stops away from train station, and most of all 5 min from the beach. You will use a lot of trams/trains in Nice to get to all the sites and the hotel offers best access IMO. There are restaurants in the same at and all around the area. Breakfast is basic continental, so no hot food. 10 euros for that. Staff lovely and helpful and polite. English is well spoken by all.
“Nice place to stay in Nice.”
Hotel was in a great location for touring Nice. Good sized room and very clean but the bathroom was small.
