Great service and location. Breakfast options were great. Right next to the beach and all restaurants. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Would recommend to all family and friends.

The location and the welcoming staff. We were travelling to celebrate a special occasion and the staff made it special. Unfortunately due to family emergency we needed to cut our trip short. After explaining to the young man at the desk and inquiring about any reimbursement he noted that the manager was very busy and could not give me an answer but would get back to me. Upon checkout the next day still no answer and as of today have not heard a works. As a frequent traveler and staying at various properties things can come up to interrupt a stay. I have always been treated with respect and some consideration. Unfortunately this has not been the case with the Albert 1 er.

Great little hotel in a perfect location. Walkable to everything and only 15 mins from the main station. Would definitely stay again!

Very close to Promanade, easy to walk around Old Town and get to train station. Rooms appear renovated and bedding is comfortable. Staff polite and helpful in French and English.

The hotel is at the center of the Carnaval de Nice, I didn’t expect that we had the best view in the house. Shops and restaurants are all nearby, the tram is just a few minutes walk. The receptionists are all friendly and helpful. What I like most is the water dispenser in the hallway which is readily available to guests. Breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for first timers in Nice.

The hotel is very well situated, walking to major sight seeing. The breakfast is with wide choices of items, the lady supervising the breakfast is very helpful, always with a smile. Our only complaint is the noise, maybe it is because our room is on the major street side, and it was during new year celebration, the outside noise is very loud, it is like sleeping on the street. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay, we will definitely stay again once we are in Nice.

A charming comfortable well located hotel
The room was lovely - very tastefully decorated, warm and quiet. Tea and coffee making facilities were also available in room. Hotel is close to promenade and in centre of city. Breakfast was substantial and varied and open between 6.30a.m. and 11a.m. A water dispenser was present outside rooms on each corridor which was very thoughtful. Wifi was easily accessible but dropped out a couple of times

A comfy bed and kettle
A nice place. I really appreciated the kettle and the comfortable bed. The location from the water and main attractions was really good. I wish there were less plastic being used and the rugs were really dirty. However, the service was great. The front desk and housekeeping were very courteous.

Location is wonderful!
Fantastic location! Walkable to everything. The staff were great and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. Would definitely stay here again!

Horrible customer service. When we arrived they told us breakfast was served between 6:30 and 10:30am. So we went and got just a couple stuff and sat there for 5minutes. Then, when leaving they ask us to pay $38 for breakfast. When asked why they didnt tell us the breakfast was not included in our stay, their response was "I don't have to tell you". I do not recommend this place.

Stayed in a renovated room which was very nice and modern. Hotel could do with overall re modernisation but it is very convenient, right on the sea, by old town and Place de Messena. Staff at reception very helpful and friendly.

Great hotel in a perfect location. Walkable to old town and the promenade. We were upgraded to an Oceanview room and we were really pleased. The view is amazing and two chairs and a table on the balcony. Shopping and nice restaurants close by.

Great location but expensive for what we got....
Great location near Old Nice. Got upgraded to a sea view room, a glorious view over the sea. Room was basic but very clean, shower didn't work properly, AC had mind of it's own but was cold. Only stayed one night. Lovely people although when I asked for an iron they just said "non". Very accommodating with bags on our departure day. Comfy "budget" hotel... though €200 a night isn't really budget.

While the location of the property makes it very walkable, it is significantly overpriced. The property fails display in any significant terms that it is located on a major highway in france and you can not sit on those balconies without significant noise. Overall the property is barely acceptable and then to charge alot for breakfast is well over the top

This hotel is tired and in terrible condition (not in a historical way, they just don't care!). We paid 1750$ for 4 nights for a room with beds that made us itch all over (bed bugs is a real possibility) and no glass to drink things, just paper cups. The first day the reception said before you go to the beach ask for our towels so that the plage knows you're with us. At the end they charged 4 euros per towel without us knowing there's a fee for it. The location is good but don't recommend this property.

This hotel has the charm of old Nice as well as updated conveniences. It overlooks a lovely park which has an old carousel in it that you can have a ride on. The old town is about a 15 minute walk and there you will find great restaurants and lovely shops. The staff at the hotel are helpful and polite.
