Among the W's many inventive design features is a foyer-level waterfall, with the water running freely over the ceiling, sides, and floor of the glass encasement to create a "liquid ceiling" effect. The main seventh-floor lobby features a sleek black lacquer reception desk and a large promenade with white leather seating and smaller private alcoves.
W New York Times Square also features Sweat Fitness Center and W The Store. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the main lobby/Living Room Bar area.

Blue Fin - Acclaimed seafood in a cool and serene bi-level space facing the lights and energy of Broadway. Dramatic, "floating" stainless steel staircase leading upstairs to a semi-private alcove dining area with some of New York's best live jazz. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Living Room Bar - Convivial lobby-level lounge serving drinks and light fare in an inventively designed space with no walls, white-leather seating squares, glowing resin seating alcoves. Plasma TVs, board games.
24-hour room service is available.

“"W" for WOW!”
We've stayed at the "W" several times. The location couldn't be better for Broadway and Times Square. Always a pleasure. Always clean. When we can get a deal like we did on Expedia, the "W" is for us!
“Trendy Hotel”
We stayed at the W New York Times Square the first weekend of October. My husband and I are both 30. We enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it. It's very trendy and you almost feel as if you are entering a dance club. The entry way, with water filled ceiling and walls, is impressive. The front desk staff were very friendly. We had a 'wonderful 2 double' room on the 28th floor and found it to be very roomy and very comfortable. The down beds were great and we had a large plasma tv. The only thing that was strange was the bathroom. It definitely lacks privacy. You can partially see through the walls, since it's a frosted wall. For a married couple it was no big deal, but I can see it being a problem for a new couple or friends staying there. Hopefully, the new renovations will provide a change with the bathrooms. We had drinks in the bar one night. The drinks are expensive (as expected) and the waitress forgot about us, but we did enjoy the lounge atmosphere of it. The location can't be beat--right in the middle of times square. Perfect if you are going to a broadway show. If you like trendy, hip hotels, you will like this one. I've stayed at other W hotels and this one was comparable to them.
“Excellent experience!”
From check-in to check-out, the staff and property was excellent. My wife and I were very pleased with everything! First time staying there and we would definitely recommend it and will come back!
“Perfect location”
Air conditioning was strong but the Living Room was a great great place to have drinks. Great people, friendly and the staff at the hotel were terrific.
“An oasis of calm”
Extremely comfortable hotel, with excellent and efficient service which provided an oasis of calm in an otherwise frantic city. Superb reataurant attached providing good quality breakfast and evening meals.
“Location Location Location!”
I've previously stayed in a few nice hotels in Manhattan but The W is a fanastic place to stay, really trendy, stylish and very comfortable. You can't beat the location, for theatre, bars, sightseeing, and of course shopping. I will definitely stay here again.
“best hotel i have ever stayed in”
this is my second time in new york, this hotel is by far the best i have ever stayed in! the rooms were so clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and extremley helping in getting us a cab when our shuttle didnt turn up to take us to the airport! this hotel is in the centre of times sq within walking distance of all tourist attractions. Will be going back.
