“Very good location...able to walk to trains and buses within blocks..taxi's everywhere.”
Excellent and gracious service at all times...a bit pricey but fair for New York. I would definitely go back. Convenient for all forms of public transportation to anywhere in New York.
“Loved it!”
My stepson suggested this hotel. My husband and I got there very early in the AM, and they were able to put us up in a suite! We loved the room. We just hate we weren't able to stay longer than one night! We'll come back there again for sure!
“spacious and convenient”
We stayed while visiting our daughter in Manhattan, and it was undoubtely the "roomiest" room we've ever stayed in in NY. It was so convenient to the subway and I loved that the TKTS booth is only a block away. The only problem we encountered was finding a local place for breakfast. The hotel's offerings were pricey for something quick that we were looking for and when we tried to find something in the neighborhood we had no luck. Every place was either closed or we couldn't get service; at one place a man who was a local got so frustrated he got up and left and we followed suit. We ended up just heading on into Manhattan. However, that is no reflection on the hotel; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
“enjoyable break”
Was a bit apprehensive after booking that we may have been a bit out of the way, neednt have worried the subway is about 3 minutes walk away so could be in Manhattan or other parts of Brooklyn easily. The concierge was great we could have a swim then breakfast and still be off early. Was great to stay in Brooklyn so easy to do Downtown manhattan all in all a good stay !
“Great place to stay”
Located in very nice section of Brooklyn. Short walk to shops, parks, etc. Rooms large and comfortable. Staff very eager to please. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.
“Great Hotel in Brooklyn”
Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Location was convenient to restaurants & convenience stores etc. We were very satisfied for our four nights stay @ this hotel. Our son lives in Brooklyn, and we will definitely stay @ Marriott again in the near future.
“Would definitely go back”
Great hotel, extremely friendly & helpful staff. Rooms very clean & comfy. Good location too, only one stop from Manhattan on the subway. We loved our stay and wouldnt hesitate in going back. You must walk the brooklyn bridge and have ice cream at the brooklyn ice cream factory, all just down the road.
“Great place to stay”
Very clean!! With resonable price, comfortable, felt like I was in my own home. Great location close to everything only 20 minute subway ride to Times Square, 10 minutes to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty.
“We enjoyed our visit”
The staff was very nice and willing to help with all our questions. The hotel is very clean. The beds are the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. Overall we were very satisfied with everything.
“The Best Hotel I have ever stayed at in over 50 years of traveling the USA”
This name your Review just about says it all. The Best Hotel I have ever stayed at in over 50 years of traveling the USA. You just park at the front entrance. Plenty of parking area. Bellman takes your luggage in the hotel. You have a choice as to how your car is parked. They parked my vehicle. No hassle at the main desk---and they speak good English. Luggage is delivered to your room. They have a special person at the desk area to help you for whatever. He drew me a walking route on a map. Was just what he said. Walking trail, where you can sit down, just outside the hotel. Most beautiful entrance area in a hotel I have ever seen. Room was just what was advertised, and clean. Breakfast buffet was nice. All employees were very friendly and spoke good English. Just give the desk your garage ticket and they bring your car. I'll say it again--- The Best Hotel I have ever stayed at in over 50 years of traveling the USA.
