“We would definitely recommend this hotel”

Very good all round for the price. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Very friendly staff. Great location for downtown Manhattan, very convenient for subways and buses to get to the rest of town. Would definitely stay here again. Background - we're a couple in our early fifties, stayed here without kids.

“My Favorite Hotel in NYC!”

My 14 year old daughter and I stayed here for one night when we had a short chance to visit NYC. It was the best place I have ever stayed at in NY, and that includes all the big hotel chains. Rooms were clean and beds were super comfy. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The location is 2 blocks from Little Italy and 3 from Chinatown and SoHo, so you can walk to anything in those areas easily. We felt safe and comfortable here. I would definitely stay again.

“Good location for Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown”

It was quaint and quiet, - some of the lighting didn't work, but we were very happy. The location was good for what we wanted to do, easy to shop, eat or grab a cab uptown.

“FABULOUS HOTEL”

“SoHo, SoGood”

I did an overnight in this hotel to accommodate the late night out I was planning on having for a friends' birthday. The Solita is in a great area with countless shops, boutiques, a Dunkin Donuts 2 blocks up around the corner, and within walking distance of Canal Street, where we had GREAT Chinese Food at Sun Sai Gai Restaurant. The hotel staff during our visit was extremely friendly and accommodating, even helping us find plastic silverware to eat our Chinese Food from earlier at 4am! This hotel has very comfortable beds, great shower heads in the bathroom, an mp3 adapter so you can play your ipod, complimentary bottles of water, and a GREAT view of the Empire State building on the top floor where we were! Overall, a very wonderful, comfortable stay, with lots to do and see nearby, even for just an overnight.

“Small Size but Great Location”

Tiny front entrance, cute but hard to spot! Oddly, some empty buildings around. Restaurant next door cheerful, a neighourhood spot. Diner across the road good for quick breakfast! Easy walk to ...anywhere in lower manhattan! Loved Soho! Tenement Museum worth the short walk. Easy taxi and subway access north. Room small but everything we needed to relax after busy days.

“Small rooms great location.”

Stayed in a double bed room. The rooms are very small - small European size. The room was clean & appointed nicely for the space. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the subway and SoHo/Chinatown shopping and dining.

“Very ice hotel very well located”

Very nice hotel in little italy. Walking distance to little italy, china town, battery park and Greenwich village. Nice restaurant for breakfast just on the other side of the road. Free internet and TV where you can plug a camera. Nice people at the hotel reception. The room was a bit small for 2 adults and 2 kids with 2 Queen beds. The only small problem was the airconditioning a bit too close to the beds.

“Super experience!!”

We really enjoyed our stay here! Yes, the room is small, but as everyone else mentions, this is New York! The room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is unbeatable, right in the middle of SoHo-Little Italy-Chinatown. Easy access to the subway, and a reasonable cab fare from all the important places in Manhattan. When we go back to NYC, we will stay here again!
