When we checked in, the room was not quite ready, but the staff quickly comped our drinks in the bar area. While there my wife told the waiter we were celebrating our 40 wedding anniversary. When we came back for dinner there was a card, signed by the restaurant staff congratulating us . Also, we got a glass of complimentary champagne. Later when visiting the rooftop bar the manager commented on our anniversary. The staff here was outstanding.

The Greyson is located perfectly in midtown Manhattan. It's within walking distance to Time Square and other popular new york spots. It's spotless and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only critique is the "city view" upcharge. I paid a bit extra for a "city view" room thinking I would be able to see the city. Instead, I was placed on the 11th floor with a view to the street bellow and the windows of the other buildings across the street. No city in sight. Not worth the extra charge. Overall, I do recommend staying here when visiting.

This hotel is over priced for what it is. The room was fine, but its located in a poor spot. But bottom line is that when you want accommodations, you care about the bedding and the shower. The mattress, sheets and pillows were all crap, and the shower was mediocre at best. This was overpriced because its a Hyatt brand - not worth the $ at all.
