“Very comfortable. Great staff”
Cozy hotel Great location. Great price
“great for a short stay in Manhattan”
If you dont have much time and wanna be close to everything in midtown Manhattan, this is a great hotel to stay. I stayed there alreay for the second time and will go there again. First time the room was tiny, but they try to make it nice and still it is charming. Don't look out of the window, you face a brick wall, and the AC is noisy as well, but - the charme of the hotel makes it up! It is very clean, the staff is friendly and has great suggestions for restaurants and entertainment, sometimes they bring you fresh cookies in your room, the choice of the mini bar is great as well. So and enjoyable place to be.
“Loved this hotel”
This was my first trip to New York and I couldn't have picked a better hotel. It was only a block away from Times Square, so it was very convenient. It was also within walking distance of all the shopping on 5th Ave. and Central Park. I liked the location because it wasn't too loud or crowded but it was very close to heavily visited areas. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. They even helped block traffic for us to park in the parking garage across the street. They also gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The room was great, it wasn't huge but I loved the marble in the bathroom. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. I was very pleased with the hotel and would definitely stay here again!
“Perfect Location”
This was one of the greatest hotels I have stayed at in any of my vacations. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The room service food and at the neigboring restaurant were pricey but still tasty. We were able to walk any where we wanted to go within 30 minutes and were surrounded by a great assortment of restaurants and bars to keep the down time busy.
“Ideal for a first visit to New York”
The hotel is ideally located for a first visit to New York, within easy walking distance of Time Square, Broadway, Grand Central station, the Chrysler Building, Empire State Building and Rockefeller Centre, and just off 5th Avenue. Despite being in bustling Midtown Manhattan the street is quiet. The room was small but comfortable with tv, DVD player, iPod docking station, a well-stocked mini-bar and a lovely marble bathroom. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Complementary wi-fi is available. Our stay was very enjoyable and I would have no hesitation in recommending City Club Hotel to others.
“Definitely going back!”
We loved staying at this hotel for a little one night getaway in the city. The staff was very personable and upgraded us to a king suite which was beautiful! The room was very clean and cozy and the bathroom was great with cozy robes! Definitely staying there again soon! Definitely recommend staying there!
“Will be staying there next time we go to New York!”
Hotel staff was great! Whatever we needed they were quick to get it to us. Loved the personal touch of the cookies that were left when the room was cleaned. Good area, not far from Times Square and felt safe walking back at night.
“Very nice”
Hotel was great, but there was a parade when we came into NYC that blocked off the street to our hotel that we were unaware of- we circled Manhattan for 2 hours not knowing where to park (several streets were blocked off and we don't know the area). When I called to confirm reservations, I was not told that hotel street/garage would not be accesible. We ended parking a couple of blocks away and walking with luggage and child to hotel.
“Great location current-feeling hotel”
Loved being upgraded to start with. Very good coffee shop across the street was welcome to these sleepy visitors. Enjoyed the modest but current and tasteful decor. Very pleasant people at the front desk. Speedy available elevators. Easy walk to our show on Broadway. Across the street from one of NYC great bars (Royalton). Convenient parking. Couldn't ask for anything more.
“Great hotel stat”
