“pleasantly surprised, would go back”
great hotel in its price range, much better than i expected. clean comfortable room. the rooms have a fridge, and Coffee/pastries provided for breakfast.
“GREAT HOTEL GREAT LOCATION GREAT PRICE”
GREAT HOTEL FOR THE PRICE.WE STAYED IN NYC FOR 3 DAYS AND THE HOTEL WAS GREAT A GREAT LOCATION.SUBWAY RIGHT OUT FRONT ,PARKING GARAGES ONLY 1 OR 2 BLOCKS AWAY.COOL NEIGHBORHOOD.THE ONLY THING NEGATIVE I WOULD HAVE TO SAY IS THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WASN'T GREAT BUT AGAIN ITS A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST.I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
“New York Get A Way”
Could not get Queen size bed otherwise the place was in the heart of the area my wife and I want ed to be. I would go there again the next time in New York City. It is located between two subway lines and we had easy access to Penn Station.
“et our needs.”
We came to town for a wedding. The room and staff and continental breakfast were fine. Coffee was suitably strong and the windows of room opened so we had fresh air. Location was perfect--3 blocks from Highline entrance. Would return.
“Will go back”
The hotel was clean and very comfortable. It was located exactly where we wanted to be with subways at our convenience literally outside the door! Good places to eat nearby and centrally located in Manhattan to get around easily.
“A great no-frills option”
Well priced, well located, clean, updated, and spacious! There are no frills, not even full cable tv (though we didn't spend a lot of time figuring out the tv situation), but right next to subway, near lots of restaurants, with bright, clean, upscale lobby, clean, updated rooms and bathrooms. We had two rooms which were considerately booked right across from each other on top floor without any special requests. I was very comfortable having my young kids there. Just 3 stops south of Times Square on the subway right by the hotel. Overall, a great fit for a family trip to NYC.
“great hotel for a very fair price”
great customer service; allowed early check-in after our re-eye flight from L.A.; room larger than expected; very clean; we highly recommend the hotel
“Good New York City Hotel”

“Great location and neighbourhood, great hotel”
Spacious room, comfortable big bed, great shower and good housekeeping service. Breakfast is a basic coffee bar and help-yourself pastries, but all fresh and perfectly adequate to get you out and about. Hotel staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Just a door away from the famous Hotel Chelsea of Sid and Nancy fame. Jake's Saloon next door is a great bar and East of 8th bistro a couple of doors away is great food again. Subway taking you straight to Times Square or downtown to the ferries is literally on the corner just yards from the hotel door. Overall we loved the Chelsea Savoy - it's in a great location for just hanging out locally or to easily get to any Manhattan attraction. (Don't forget Kinko's 24 hour business centre inside the Fedex office on 23rd and 7th for checking your homeward flights and printing out boarding passes!).
“Love to go back”
The hotel location is fantastic. The staff where all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and functional. There were no frills but we didn't expect any for the price we paid. The beds were comfortable and we felt secure. What more could we ask for.
