“Really good place to stay”
it was everything that i needed
“Great experience”
I would definitely recommend this hostel. It ranks among my top 3. The only things that would make it better was if it wasn't so far uptown (it is extremely close to the subway though) and if there was more common space and ways to get introduced to other travellers.
“Can´t wait to go back”
The experience was very good, very good. The staff at the front desk was very nice and friendly and helped me with everything, information, travel, shuttle service, maps and public transport. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were plenty - no problems with sharing at all. Met wonderful people every day and night in my room from different countries. They offered internet in the lobby and the first two floors which was very nice and the hotel was only 20min away from Times Square by walking and with the subway only five minutes. Central park is only five minutes away and makes it easy to explore the city. The hostel was sourrounded by a lot of coffee shops and very nice dinners and restaurant..especially the metro diner just one street away makes it easy to get nice dinners 24 hours around the clock and you can take them with you to eat them in your room. The hostel is a wonderful and cheap solution for people who haven´t got too much money and who are all alone. They will meet easliy friends and can discover New York very easily from this spot. The next time I will go there again for sure, as it is the perfect fit for a mid twenty single woman from Germany...
“Good Trip!!”
I think This Hostel is Good in NY. Everyday You will be cleaned up your room. I stayed at dorm type. but I could enjoy staying with anothere people. It likes adventure!! I recommend it!
“good hotel”
staffs there are very warmhearted
“extremely impressed”
The hotel was extremely well decorated -- swanky, even. The room was simple with basic amenities (no phone for instance) but ample sized bathroom, very luxurious linens and furniture. I didn't know what to expect, but I was blown away by this chic gem. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who needed an affordable place to stay.
“Great Value for Money, Will Definately Stay Again”
The hostel had a very cosy feel from the front desk/ground floor level of the building. The rooms were very clean, but no carpet in them meant that the floors were noisy with people coming and going all hours. The beds were squeaky, but the room sizes were awesome. The Kitchen was beautiful, but not very functionable for the true backpacker as there were no stoves, and very little cutlery so unless you were re-heating food in the microwaves, eating in wasn't very easy. The hostel itself was great value for money and very close to the Subway, and regular buses that head Downtown. The staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to getting you around or any sort of NY enquiries you might have had. I would definately stay here again.
“Great for the price!”
This Hostel is basic, but provides all you need for a trip to NYC. I went to NYC to see the sights and stay out all day. The Hostel was a perfect place to sleep, yes the beds are a litte creaky, but didnt keep me awake. The bathrooms are clean and the water was always hot enough when I used them. The Hostel is situated right on Broadway, just 2 blocks away from the nearest Metro station which you can ride Un-limited all day for just $7! There are many restraunts and shops on Broadway around the Hostels area. Staff are very friendly and helpfull, other residents all seemed to be like minded people, and security is very good!
“Good value. Clean. Nice bathrooms.”
Everything was fine at this hotel/hostel. I was happy that I booked this place. I saved a ton of money compared to what I spent on hotels during my other trips to NYC. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. I slept very well here. It is also in a convenient location very near a subway stop.
“OK”
The hostel was clean and had a great common area with huge TVs and the latest movies. It is a little far from the action but it only takes 10mins to get to times square on the subway and there are heaps of restaurants around the area. Overall happy with the hostel.
