“Great hotel - superb views!”
This hotel was lovely, the roof top swimming pool is an absolute must. Likewise the views from the breakfast room are great. There are lots of really nice restaurants within five minutes walk of the hotel and everyone was really friendly. My only word of warning would be that some of Naples is distinctly dodgy and I wouldn't travel as a woman alone there again.
“superb area”
The very best thing about this hotel was the location - quiet, safe and good eating places very close by. The view from the breakfast room is beautiful. We found the staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We caught the ali bus to and from the airport from the castle- it turned up on time and it was easy to locate and we walked to the hotel from there- 20 mins walk- go down to Via Acton, walk past the ferry port and take a left just before the tunnel and follow the road up and round past the marina until you see another castle and the hotel is opposite.

“A Superb base for seeing Naples and the surrounding area”
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff at the Royal Continental. The views over the bay to Capri were breathtaking. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone else thinking of visiting Naples and are looking forward to returning their ourselves.

“Perfect Naples hotel”
Great location - easy to get to and from on the bus from the airport, good breakfast, v clean, superb views, good restaurants very close to hotel, nice reception, bar and restaurant staff
“Oasis in polluted shambles of a city”
After 4 nights in the older part of Naples - ie the part the ongoing renovations haven't even heard of yet, it was a relief to settle into a comfortable hotel that was accessible, or as accessible as anywhere in this city of struggling pubic transport and swindling taxi drivers could be. Beautiful rooftop pool and seafront restaurant, efficient staff and good location. Recommended, but full breakfast is basically very good continental plus toast, scrambled eggs and thin boiled ham that recently spent five minutes on a sunbed.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of June 2008 and were very pleased with everything. Our room was lovely, the staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was very good.
