"This is a remote place to stay, small, quiet, old and charming. It’s really only suitable for a couple maybe with children. The owner was there to meet us. He was thorough in acquainting us with the place and its amenities. We loved it. A real step back in time. "

"Our family really enjoyed this property in Le Spezia. We arrived really late on a train, yet Renata (our host) arranged her colleagues to meet us and acquaint us with the property. The patio was lovely to eat breakfast on and there was plenty of space for our family of six. Renata was even kind enough to stock our fridge with a few food items for breakfast! This location worked very well for us to do a day trip in Cinque Terra and we would definitely recommend it."

"Good communication with host. Easy check in. Biggest plus of this apartment is the location right in Marconi Piazza. There is not a lot of accommodation in Vernazza especially ones that don’t require multiple sets of stairs, only one up to the apartment here. The beds were comfy and we had everything we need although we did not do any email preparation. The kitchen how to basics. We would stay here again."

"Lots of steps but totally worth every step. The upstairs bedroom with window open, listening to the sea - it’s just a dream. Loved the cute kitchen and we made several meals here with ingredients from stores just a short walk away. We hope to be back next year!"

"Our stay at Casa del Borgo was pleasant. We had good communication w/host as very responsive. We did not realize how remote the air b n b was, but it made for a private cozy getaway. Renata left great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. she even made dinner reservations for us! "The view from this hillside retreat was amazing! Waking up in the morning to the birds singing through the windows was a perfect start to the day before heading out to busier areas. The town of Lerici and castle were fun to explore and a short train ride to explore the sites of the Cinque Terre. AnnaMaria was very friendly and helpful, meeting us at the house and showing us around. It is a country home so don’t expect the amenities of a hotel resort, but if a quiet time in the country is what...

"We were so pleased to find a rental located in the quaint village of Corniglia. The place was clean and the terrace on the rooftop had breathtaking views of the coastline. We did not receive check in instructions until the day of arrival so we would have preferred communication in advance. The showers are quite small and there are steps to manage with your luggage but we managed without any difficulty. We were overall very pleased with the rental and would visit again."

"This is a lovely little apartment. We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. The apartment itself is fine (it had not been cleaned when we got there, but perhaps we had got our timing confused). There were a few minor wear and tear issues (torn shower curtain etc), but overall it is a very functional and well equipped place - we were particularly grateful for the beach...

"Huset var mycket vackert beläget men inte helt lätt att ta sig till. Mycket brant backe och kan bli svårt med en stor bil. Bra parkering vid huset. Städning mycket bra och fräscht hus. Vi har tidigare hyrt hus i Italien vid några tillfällen, men aldrig tidigare så bra utrustning i köket och välfungerande duschar med varmvatten. trevliga värdar. Det som drar ner betyget är att man vid bokning efterfrågade om vi önskade "Additional sheets and towels". Jag förutsatte att det ingick ett set/ person...

"We stayed here for three nights (in Oct 23) of our month vacation in Italy. This was one of our favorite stays. The view is stunning, & we enjoyed dinner and drinks from the roof top watching the sun set. This is on the top of the cliff but the walk up was pretty easy, it’s just up a gentle sloping walkway from middle of town. The multiple levels in the apartment were no issue for us…we are 61 & 57. The apartment had portable air conditioners that worked great. In fact we are going to buy some...
