“Wonderful Hotel”

“the place to be”

i'm the first to admit that staying at W hotels is a crapshoot. Some are nicer than others. I was living in MN weekly for work and moved from the Westin to the W and felt it was a significant upgrade. Not as stuffy and rooms were much better...didn't make it to the rooftop bar but planning another stay and will be there for sure this time.

“Surprisingly hip”

Good location that wasn't far from anyplace in the Minneapolis "entertainment district." Rooms and hotel interior all modern, which was a nice contrast to the unique historic architecture of the overall building. Enjoyed the 27th floor bar area with views of the city.

“So fun...a must stay....”

Thank god for blackberry martinis at prohibition and cougars.....or...I mean the hotel is a wonderful place to stay and I thoroughly enjoyed my time.....it is very very classy...I loved the showerhead and the view from the bedroom was wonderful....such a great place for a romantic getaway...staff was excellent...

“Can't wait to go back!”

We stayed at the W Foshay hotel last week for one night. We had our children with, who have not stayed in a hotel of this type before. They loved it, as did my husband and I! The staff was great, very helpful, and considering the hotel had just opened 11 days before it was very well run! Manny's Steakhouse is right on the property, and for those who know Minneapolis, the hotel is located in the historic Foshay Tower. The lobby, elevators have the feel of what was, while the rooms are very contemporary, decorated in black, white and hot pink. I loved it, and can't wait to go back! Although my kids loved it too- next time we will try it without them!

“Amazing”

Only complaint is that the room was really cold - and being only 15 degrees outside it took quite awhile to heat it up. Other than that - the staff was beyond accommodating - they were all great.
