“Milano's Central”
Great location, very helpful staff. Great breakfast

“ideal place to stay”
the madison hotel in milan is a ideal place to stay. the location is far enough out of the main town but the tram, underground and bus stops and main train station are about 200 yards away. the hotel is very clean and the staff are very pleasant,and the continental breakfast is ample, if travelling to milan i can recomend a restraunt called oscars,proper italian food.

“Cheap, clean, comfortable, friendly”
Booked this room very last minute primarily because it was cheap and not far from the train station. Surprise, it was minutes from the train station and far and above my lowest of the low expectations. Hotel entrance & lobby were a nice surprise, clean, well maintained, much better than the neighborhood would suggest. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, spoke excellent english. My room was small but well appointed, clean and comfortable. The bathroom... was a nice surprise. Enormous by Italian standards and very modern. When I asked about wifi at the front desk I was provided with a free 24 hour login and access code, connection was good so was very pleased. The hotel at night was very quiet, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, was another pleasant surprise. The only downside is the neighborhood; during the day it was fine but at night be vigilant or better yet take a cab and avoid wandering around. I was a single female traveller and had no problems although was a bit uncomfortable making the 2 block trek to the hotel from the train/metro station at night.
“Good Value”
Travelers should note that although the area surrounding the Train station is not nice, this Hotel was a great place to stay for those that just need a place to crash for a night or two. Its a 5 min walk to the train station or subway. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and great bed. For the how expensive Milan can be, this place is a good value.
“Good Deal”
For the location and the quality of the room... I would definitely stay there again if I was only going to be in Milan for a night or two. It is very close to the train station, which is very convenient
“Nice Hotel/Dicey Neighborhood”
The Madison is very clean and modern, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a nice breakfast that is served in a large room on the fourth floor. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is full of drunks and street people so my fiance was put off by that, but in reality none of those people harassed or pestered us. There are many people sleeping in front of the train station and/or sitting around with bottles of alcohol.
“Clean and location is exellent for the price”
I stay here 5 to 6 times through out the year. Staff good. Speak several languages You have to step over a few drunks when you walk from the train station to the hotel (3 min. walk). Every city has drunks by the train station. Quite a few cheap and very good restaurants a few minutes walk away. Easy access to Central Milan and the airports. Roomss clean, bathroom's can be small but generally a very good hotel for the price.
“Nice hotel”
Nice hotel near train station, very nice breakfast included as well as WIFI. Would definitely stay there again. Central Milan short subway ride away.
