The Palms Hotel & Spa has 251 guestrooms in 12- and 9-story towers. Rooms offer contemporary, custom-designed wood furnishings and views of the Atlantic Ocean, the resort's gardens, or Miami Beach's city skyline. All guestrooms include pillowtop mattresses, Egyptian cotton linens, and extra pillows.
Guestrooms feature 32-inch plasma televisions with cable and on-demand pay movies, iPod clock radios, desks, touch screen phones, in-room safes, ceiling fans, and minibars. Spa-inspired bathrooms come with rainfall showers, Aveda toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available.

Essensia Restaurant - Natural gourmet dining with a focus on local, organic, and seasonal ingredients in a sensuous and relaxed atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating.

The Tiki Bar - Located poolside, The Tiki Bar serves light snacks and drinks throughout the day. Open mid-morning to early evening (seasonal, weather permitting).
The Great Room - Guests can enjoy the quiet of the hotel's lobby for cocktails, tea, or coffee. Morning to late evening.
Recreation
Lounging is the top activity at The Palms Hotel & Spa, but guests will find a variety of water-sports concessions at the beach. Two 18-hole golf courses (one public, one private) are within a 5-minute drive of the hotel (the concierge can arrange special rates and tee times).

“Great hotel”
We stayed here for a night and were very happy with our room and the hotel. It was close to the shopping district and local restaurants.
“Love it!”
The Palms is amazing! Everything is brand new and clean. My room was right next to a bank of elevators and I was concerned that it would be noisy, but not at all. They did a great job at soundproofing the walls. The restaurant downstairs has great food . The hotel is not really walking distance for any of the SOBE hotspots like Lincoln Road or Ocean Drive, but cabs are easy and for about $8.00 you can get to Lincoln Road. The pool area is very lush and relaxing. I would definitely recommend the Palms and hope to stay there again when I visit SOBE in January.

The Palms Hotel & Spa est un très bel hôtel. Chambres modernes et zen. Accès direct à la plage, plage très tranquille d'ailleurs. La piscine est grande et le côté jardin est très bien aménagé. Le personnel est très courtois, nous avions l'impression d'être des invités de marque... Les services payants de l'hôtel sont un peu chers, par contre vous pouvez marcher 5 minutes au nord pour déjeuner dans un bon café ou bien 15 minutes vers le sud et vous serez en plein coeur de South Beach et aurez accès à toutes sortes de cuisines. À y retourner !

la piscine est tres agreable, la plage aussi (les matelas sont gratuits pour les clients de l'hotel )le restaurant tres bon,on est à 15 mn du quartier art deco à pied,quand on veut le calme et le confort c'est parfait
“The Palms, definitely my hotel for future stays in Miami.”
I normally don't take the time to fill out these surveys, but I have to say that our stay at the Palms was so pleasurable that I think they deserve the effort. The hotel was in a great location. The check in and check was quick and efficient. The service was great and the personnel at the hotel couldn't be friendlier. We were 100% satisfied. If I had to say anything negative about the Palms, it would be that the room and mostly the bathroom were a bit small, but it was still cozy, well decorted and spotless. Anyway the location, the attention and the access to the beach highly compensates for the size.
“LOVED the Palms”
I did a lot of research before choosing this hotel and it was everything I wanted. Upscale enough without feeling pretentious. Big, but not a mega-hotel (I didn't want to feel like I was at a Vegas hotel) and the staff were friendly and always helpful. Also, I didn't want to be in the midst of all the action so the location was perfect. Not in the thick of things but close enough. Walking to "downtown" was easy once the sun went down. We are New Yorkers so we are used to walking so it was light action for us but I really thought the hotel was much further out based on other reviews. We even walked in the other direction all the way up to the Fontainbleau where I again, was happy I chose the Palms. I will definitely stay here again. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are kind of small but I didn't not come to Miami for the bathrooms.
