"My husband and i travelled around thailand for a couple of weeks and this property was by far our favourite. The owner was so helpful leading up to our arrival, giving us advice on how to get to the property and how much we should expect to pay. The bungalow was in a quiet location, which is exactly what we wanted for the end of our trip. There were 2 bicycles provided which was great! The beach was a couple of minutes away on the bike and there was a shop a few minutes in the other direction....

"Mai Khao Beach Guest House is possible Phuket's best kept secret. It's only 3 colorful bungalows tucked away a short walk from the beach. Everything is brand new and spotless. The beach itself is almost free from tourists. Walk north and you will only meet local fishermen for 5 km. The owner of the bungalows and his wife are the nicest people. They will do everything to make your stay comfortable and you really feel like part of the family."

"The lady who runs the place, Gail I think, is very helpful. I arranged day trips before coming but we could have just waited until we got there and she would have helped us. She also helped us order food and taxis. It's a quiet area with a rustic vibe and lots of birds. You can walk to the beach and two stores. It was clean. The beds are quite firm in the Asian style, so not very soft for Westerners. Air conditioning and wifi was good."

"For us the Villa with own pool is the best option to go for. Last time we stayed we had breakfast and diner included whereas this time we went for all meals plus two cocktails each day and a treatment each in the Spa. Having all meals was a mistake as we found that we couldn’t eat everything but for those with a large appetite it would be worthwhile. We would like to mention the lady who made up our Villa every day. Her name was Amm and she was a treasure being super efficient. "

"We only stayed for a night but the overall experience was great from check-in to check-out. The pool area needed more day-beds but other than that, loved the whole vibe of the hotel. Our room was cosy & comfortable as well."
