“Inexpensive Motel”
The Econo Lodge in Louisville is a good hotel for people who don't want spend a lot of money. It's right near all the attractions in Downtown Louisville.
“Efficient, cheap, and perfect location !”
This hotel was just what we were looking for. We didn't need any bells and whistles, just some place to lay our head after a fun night in downtown Louisville. It was the a quick walk to fourth street live and affordable!

“Good stay at a good price”
This isn't a nice and fancy hotel. It's simple, clean, cheap, and convenient located to downtown Louisville. I was warned by a friend and other reviewers that this neighborhood is rough but close to downtown. The area was not scary or intimidating (but I am from the city of Chicago) so someone from a small town might not feel as safe in this area. I was there for a conference and had to be up really early on a Sunday morning. Right at bed time, a car alarm was going out but somehow I fell asleep and got a good night of rest. The next day, I found out from the other presenter on my panel who stayed here too that a couple was having an argument in the parking lot. I don't know how loud they were or if anyone had to complain to get them quiet, I was asleep. The bed was huge which is a major plus for me as a toss n turner.
“A Diamond in the Rough in Downtown Louisville”
The room was clean, internet was free, breakfast was decent, staff was very helpful, and parking was cheap. Very close to the convention center and 4th St. Live. I travel a lot and am comparing my ratings to the more expensive chain hotels (which is why I gave 4s instead of 5s). However, when considering value for the price, this place is a no-brainer.
