Property Amenities

The 387-room, Mexican hacienda-style resort is a five-story building in a U-shape enclosing gardens and pools. Amenities include four swimming pools, three cocktail lounges with pool bars, a ballroom for evening performances, and a health spa. The spa offers massage, body, and facial treatments, hair and nail care, fitness equipment, men's and women's steam rooms, and an eight-person spa tub.Children are greeted at check-in with a surprise gift and enjoy a Mini Club with a busy, supervised play and activity program set up by age: 4–7 and 8–12. The club is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily with supervised lunch at 12 .Royal Solaris Los Cabos All Inclusive has a children's water park with slides, draws kids of all ages, who can also enjoy tumbling space, piñatas, and movies starring favorite cartoon characters.

This all-inclusive Mexico resort offers 387 air-conditioned guestrooms in a five-story building. Rooms are arrayed in a U-shape around gardens and pools and all have garden, ocean, or partial ocean views from private balconies. Modern accents are combined with rustic tiles and earth tones contrasted with bright Mexican colors. All accommodations have wood and wrought-iron furnishings with a spacious lounging area and marble bathrooms.The San José del Cabo resort has two nonsmoking floors with 106 rooms offering garden, city or ocean views. The rooms may be booked upon availability and by special request. Room amenities also include a shaving/makeup mirror and blackout drapes.

Younger guests stay busy with their own club which offers supervised activities such as beach and pool games. And they can spash down slides in the children's water park. “Great resort!”
Absolutely fantastic! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the beach was perfect. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

I really enjoyed last week at the Solaris. The rooms and facility were immaculate. The beds were a little firm but I like that. In the two times I have been there I have always found the staff friendly, helpful and cooperative. The food was always good and with a variety. I have a heart condition so I was happy to find plenty of fresh fruit, veggies and fish. Yes, I did try the pork and chicken which was also very tasty. No, its not the London Savoy but then I don't eat at the Savoy. The menu at the Marco Polo (reservations required) was too rich for my arteries so I have not eaten there. The entertainment at the Salon Tehuacan has been outstanding for a resort. The stage scenery is beautifully done, the costumes colorful and intriguing. The Entertainment Team are creative and imaginative. The dancers with Michelle as their captain, do routines that appear simple and graceful but I know they require a lot of muscle, experience and practice. This is a resort that is children friendly and while some complain, I find the sound of kids having fun enjoyable. Five of my grandkids now want to go. My one complaint? No free wi-fi. How can a resort charge $15 a day for lobby wi-fi? I guess that's why there's a Starbucks (free wi-fi). 8 pesos (.65 American cents) will get you on the public bus which stops in front of the hotel. A trip into the center of the town to see the shops and historic church or, in the other direction, Mega (Walmart) & Starbucks. All in all, worth every dollar.

“Our San Jose Cabo vacation in the Royal Solaris”
Every one was very friendly. Not pushy like in other places. The meals were awesome, the buffets generly lots of choices even if your vegetarian. The small restaurants excellent food and service. Our hotel staff was superb. The landscaping and view of the water gorgeous,

This hotel was fantastic. We traveled with our children, ages 5 and 7, and they had a great time. The hotel and pool are beautiful. The staff is so friendly and the service is great. We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment.
“Had a fantasic time!”
It's in a great location. Not too far from the airport and close to the little town of San Jose. It's also not very far from Cabo San Lucas. The hotel was very accommodating. Erick was our resource for the week and was very helpful and super friendly. The shows they had were EXCELLENT! We had stayed at another Solaris and the shows were not as well done as this one.The food was good and the beach was absolutely beautiful.
“Royal Solaris - Great!”
This was our 3rd trip to this resort. We like the location as you can walk or take a city bus to the Mega store or the market and shops in the centre of the town, catch a local bus to Cabo San Lucas or snorkelling at Chileno Bay. The staff are friendly and helpful and we got to know many of them by name. In general we find the service very good. The Entertainment team keeps you busy pool side during the day & entertains you on stage or in the lobby bar in the evening. We especially like the lobby bar. In the evening it is a gathering place and you will likely see the new acquaintances you met at the pool during the day. You can dance to live bands or just listen and people watch. The bar staff never left you waiting for a drink. The buffet staff were quick to remove your dirty plates no matter how many times you went for more food. Marco Polo is our favourite restaurant with excellent service and food. We also enjoyed Panchos and the buffets. We still enjoyed the food after 12 days which, I think, is a recommendation in itself. The rooms are clean, quiet, spacious & have a private balcony. I like the size of the resort. It is small enough to allow you to run into the people you enjoy and large enough to avoid the people you don't. Like so many resorts there are timeshare sales people which irritate me no end. At least here they only attack you once at the beginning, will take "No" for an answer then leave you alone for the rest of your vacation.

The hotel is great! I loved it! the food was very good! the service is excellent especially from two servers Yaneth and Koray (I think that was her name) . I loved that they have a snack bar that stays open until 1 am!!!! they have cheeseburgers nachos cake ect .... the alcoholic drinks were good too! the only thing I disliked was that there was roaches in the room but it could be because the weather is so humid! and the bed was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! :( It was super hard! those are the only two things i dislike.
