“Pure Awesomeness!”
Very nice!
“Amazing Vacation”
One of the best places i've been to. Will come again. Very luxury, well maintained, amazing food and service. Looks lika haven..:)...
“Absolulutely Loved our stay”
This was my 2nd time to stay at the Villa La Estancia. I absolutely LOVE staying there. I love that it is so quiet and peaceful and yet if you want lively you can visit Palmar or Arco on either side. The views of the ocean & pools are beautiful. It's far enough away from town, but still very accessible to either walk or $7 taxi ride. The resort staff is very personable and pleasant. I never had anyone approach me about time shares and they were more than accomodating with requests. This is my 1st choice always to stay at when in CABO.
“This picky traveller was impressed!”
I decided to go with Villa La Estancia based on the great feedback here on Expedia, and it lived up to the hype. My wife and I (mid 30s, no kids) traveled in late Sept. The weather was 90F everyday, and the resort was nearly empty (as was ALL of Cabo - this was the end of low season). The grounds and service are excellent. I HIGHLY recommend the Villa w/ Signature Service option. The accommodations were beautiful and roomy. Plus they delivered little treats to us each day (e.g. body lotions, mints, bites of dessert, bottled water, etc). The market and deli on the grounds is very convenient, and has an ATM that provides pesos (gets you the best exchange rate using your own bank card). Everybody at the resort and in town spoke English. Quick taxi rides to town cost $7 or 70 pesos (use pesos whenever possible). Shopkeepers are assertive to get you into their stores, but never aggressive. In town you will get approached by young kids trying to sell you gum or ask for a dollar. That's just Mexico. We never felt unsafe at all. Cabo is thoroughly tourist friendly. I STRONGLY recommend prearranging your airport shuttle with Gray Line and booking any excursions with them. They are friendly and reliable. Avoid EVERYONE in the airport (except customs & airline officials obviously). They are VERY shady and lie to your face to get you to buy whatever garbage they are hawking (tours, shuttles, etc). Also - Do the buggy ride with BajaBuggys! Lots of fun and very well run outfit.
“Beautiful hotel but RUDE staff!”
We were impressed and loved how gorgeous the hotel is but will never stay there again! The hotel staff was extremely rude!!! We had to change rooms because our air conditioner didn't work and it was very very hot!!! But we had to argue to get a room change with the manager. Paid alot for the service we got.
“Best place to stay in Cabo”
We really enjoyed this Hotel, we loved almost everything with the exception of the Pool bar closing at 6 pm, that was way to early for us. It is very quiet, which is good but some evenings we wanted to keep swimming and enjoy the bar. Also, we had so many mosquito bites, I wish I would have known so I can bring repellant. Overall, our experience was one of the best we have had!
“see you soon”
Thank you for another wonderful experience. We have stayed in this resort twice now and will continue going to it when we go to Cabo. It is wonderful for children and for a relaxing getaway.
“Great place - Theft Risk”
This is wonderful property. I would recommend it highly, except for one substantial risk. We had two wallets stolen from our suite while we were all three rooms. The thieves were very sophisticated and clearly had wide access to the resort. They somehow located our occupied unit on the fifth floor of a resort with under 30% occupancy at the time. Within one hour of the theft, even before we realized the wallets had been stolen, we started receiving computerized phone calls claiming to be our bank notifying us that our account had been blocked and telling us how to "unblock" it. The thieves had very quickly obtained unlisted US cell phone #s to call and had electronic scams representing different banks ready to solicit access to funds. Hotel security and management seemed in denial that a sophisticated theft operation had access to their resort. Beware!
“Totally impressed with the cleanliness of everything”
I walked from the pool to my room barefoot. My feet stayed clean!!!! The people were very friendly, the service impeccable. I would go back tomorrow if I did not live on the other side of the world but it would for sure be in my future plans to go again and stay longer than the week we stayed this time. Thank you
“An all-together wonderful vacaton”
We took our daughter and her two friends down to Cabo for their Graduation. The hotel suites could not have been any better! We had a 2-bedroom Villa with a well-equipped kitchen and separate living room. We had a ground-level villa that disappointed us at first; but it was 10 steps from the Pool; so it felt like our own private Pool. The beach has powerful waves, but it is so much more refreshing than the lukewarm swimming pool. A great week, and we cannot wait to go back. Villa La Estancia was really great, possibly the best hotel we've stayed in with the exception of Thailand.
