Boutique hotel tucked away but close to everything

Posted 22-Jul-2015
Pros: Staff, intricate details everywhere, meticulously maintained, lovely menu and wine selection and once again great staff!
Cons: The only small incident is when we planned to sit by the rooftop fireplace to enjoy cocktails and were told a private reception was being held.
Location: Walking distance to Santa Monica Blvd for shopping, Starbucks, a quick croissant or a nice leisurely walk. Great area for jogging.
From the point of check-in to opening the door to our well appointed room, it exceeded our expectations. Fabulous art work adorned the hallways. The rooftop restaurant was cozy, private, and spa-like, as was the relaxing area around the rooftop pool. Spectacular views in every direction and when the sun sets the twinkling lights surrounding the rooftop step-down gathering area with a large fireplace ended our days on a relaxing note. The staff made us feel so welcome. Very high security at every point of entry so our privacy was well respected.

Quirky oasis of comfort in the thick of LA

Posted 20-Jul-2015
Pros: The location and the roof top facilities.
Cons: Extended check out times. We asked to stay a little longer (four hours) and were told yes but the charge would be the full overnight rate $400!
Location: It's between Sunset Strip and Melrose Avenue, so perfect for bars, restaurants and shopping. You can go west into Beverley Hills for the glamour.
Fab decor, top pool and sun bathing area on the roof. Lovely staff, excellent cocktails and good food. A little pricey but is quiet yet in the thick of the fashionable West Hollywood design area of LA. Worth a stay.

Nice hotel in great location

Posted 14-Jul-2015
Pros: good location and friendly staff
We had a great one night stay at Petit Ermitage. The location is excellent on a quiet side street in the centre of West Hollywood. Our room was nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the roof terrace and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The valet parking is a bit expensive ($38) but was efficient and convenient. Would stay again if travelling to this area.

Disappointing never again

Posted 8-Jul-2015
Pros: Location, quiet neighborhood, rooftop restaurant, comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower.
Cons: Decor needs to be updated. Carpet looks old and not clean.
The room was dark and decor was dated and smelled musty/mildew The parking was too expensive, they take advantage of their guests because they have no choices.

My favorite LA hotel

Posted 10-Jun-2015
Pros: The rooms and the roof top pool. Always an interesting, eclectic and international clientele.
Cons: surfaces around the pool could use some attention
Location: Great for getting to meetings if you need access to the west, Century City and the valley. Lots to do in Hollywood and Beverly Hills
A wonderful facility. Great central location for meetings from Santa Monica to the Valley. Perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Feels very private and quiet. Food service is very good, in the restaurant, poolside or in-room. The pool area could use a bit of a freshening up. Comfortable and well appointed, but getting a bit weathered.

Great spot!

Posted 1-Jun-2015
I sort of want to be selfish and not let anyone in on this fantastic spot! But I'll share! This is an amazing hotel in a great area that is very convenient to all. I can't say enough about the front desk staff! Shout out to Alex! All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The rooftop is a delightful oasis! Yummy food and cocktails...I highly recommend the love potion #101!

Quiet, gorgeous oasis in West Hollywood

Posted 26-May-2015
Pros: The hotel feels like an oasis among the cacophony of L.A.
Cons: N/A
Location: The hotel is close to quite a few gay bars, trendy restaurants and clubs on Santa Monica Blvd. It's also close, though downhill, to the Sunset Strip.
Petit Ermitage is a beautiful hotel. It's located close to great restaurants and bars on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. They provide small bottles of alcohol and mixers in the rooms for you to mix drinks (for a reasonable price, of course, but it's very convenient). The pool space and bar is also very relaxing and comfortable.
