This hotel is very basic and a little bit run down, but it served the purpose of our trip. Since we went for a concert at the Wiltern, we were just in the right spot. The hotel is right across the street from the theater. I noticed some remodeling has been done to the hotel, but it looked unfinished. If I’m going to see a concert at the Wiltwrn, I would definitely stay there for the convenience. There’s also a lot of places to eat around the hotel. At night, the area is a bit sketchy.

I stayed for only one night but I enjoyed my stay. It was in a convenient location since all the cafes I wanted to visit were 15-20 minute walks away or less than 10 minute drives away. There was a $300 deposit when you check in but that wasn't much of an issue since it was quick. There is a little cafe in the lobby, which I didn't get to try out but I will try it out next time I visit. The elevators are on the older side though. The room is mostly clean with a few stains here and there but nothing major. The toilet has a tape thingy to let you know that it's been cleaned and there is a bathtub mat hanging off the tub ledge so there's an option to use it or not; same with the floor towel for when you get out of the shower. There is a $10 fee for parking and the parking is under the hotel but it's secure. Overall, it's a nice place and the atmosphere is good.

Homeless people all around the property. dirty rooms and the rate was too high for such a place where we didn't feel safe or that our car was going to be protected at night.
