“"Absolutely the best"”
This Inn is delightful. A home away from home and actually, we didn't want to leave. We couldn't fault it. The rooms were cosy and inviting and very comfortable. Breakfast was heaven and throughout the day we could help ourselves to tea, coffee and cake. We will definitely stay at the Channel Road Inn whenever we come to Los Angeles. Dominique, Rebecca, Heather and Nicole were all wonderful hosts and they are a credit to the Inn. It was inspiring and refreshing to meet innkeepers who were so accommodating and passionate about their work.
“Very quaint!”
Enjoyed our stay. The beach was very close and just beautiful. Have stayed at other B&B's where the breakfast was created to our own personal preferences, likes and dislikes were collected prior to our visit, then prepared and served to us. This one buffet was a buffet style with quiche that was not kept hot so you might want to eat early if that matters to you. There was a variety of breakfast foods, but could have been even better. Our bathroom could have had more sink top (counter space), maybe if a shelf was installed to hold the ice tub and sundries that would help. Over all though the Inn was very quaint.

This quaint inn was perfect for us. The breakfast and afternoon wine and hors de ouevres were delightful! Excellent restaurants, beach within walking distance and pleasant walking areas make this a great place to stay when in Santa Monica.

Very comfortable Inn - They work to please their guests. Nice features such as hot tub, bikes, afternoon wine and cheese.
“a lovely hotel”
Very welcoming staff who went beyond graciousness. Close to the beach and restaurants, and short drive to the Getty Villa. But especially warm was the atmosphere in every detail of the house and décor.
“Wish we had stayed more than one night”
Comfy, sweet, and just lovely. We stayed here on Valentine's Day night after driving 6 hours from northern California and everything was perfect except that we couldn't stay longer. We opted to walk to the Santa Monica pier, and even though we missed the official afternoon cocktail hour they still poured us a couple glasses of wine when we got back. There's a jacuzzi, you can borrow bikes, and there were freshly baked cookies in our room. It was fantastic.

“Love it”
What a charming place. Nice beach just a a 5 minute walk. Close to the promenade. It was really charming and friendly.
“Inn by the ocean”
We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and very comfortable. Due to flight delays we checked in after 10pm. The Inn manager waited for us to arrive and presented us with a wonderful snack of fruit, cheese, crackers, dips, etc. Just perfect after a tiring day of travel. While the Inn is not located on the ocean it has a great location with the ocean within a quick walk. We would definitely stay again and will recommend to friends.
