"Charming old stone storybook house, sweet and friendly proprietors. It has the feel of a youth hostel, with a little outside garden, piano, shared bath and kitchen access. You get to old town via a walk and metro ride, and it's just fine if you are not in a rush. The vieux neigborhood surrounding the 'refuge' is interesting and there's a walking path nearby where you can see all the people who live here walking their dogs and so on....delightful!"

"Hotel Gouverneur is a beautiful hotel nested on Charron Island. Lovely walking trails. Deer roaming on the island. The interior is a step back in time of 70’s opulence. This was a great find. I will definitely stay there again. A great midway stop heading to New Brunswick."

"At Checking We were greeted very nicely, got in the room was nice and spacious and was nice and quiet night sleep. The next morning we had breakfast in the restaurant and was great tasting homeslyle breakfast for a decent price and good service. I do recommend if your looking for a nice decent motel at a decent price. "

"Very alarming experience. First, the host tried to get me to move somewhere else for my last three days, citing tax reasons in the province of Quebec. I refused of course. When we got home, the wifi password was not displayed and I had to text him to get it. The nail in the coffin was when my wife wanted to sleep and found out the sheets were not cleaned and had stains that looked like sperm (we took pictures as proof). This host should not be allowed to use your platform anymore."
