“definitely recommend”
The staff were very welcoming, courteous, helpful. My room was comfortable, nicely decorated and well kept. It was a great location for navigating London and I felt safe. I would definitely recommend staying here.
“Great hotel in nice location!!”
The staff were very helpful and even walked us to one of our destinations. The room was beautiful and super comfortable. Great location with easy access to South Kensington Station. Would recommend to my friends and will stay here again next time we are in London.
“kensington”
Well located, great ambiance, great hotel.
“Best stay in London”
The Kensington Hotel was fab! Great service, lovely decor and surroundings and convenient to shopping and restaurants in London. Will definitely stay again.
“Lovely hotel”
Great hotel. Have known about it for years but never ventured inside. Very glad to have taken the gamble as it exceeded expectations. Very boutiquey. Would definitely stay again.
“My preferred choice in London”
Quite charming
“If you are not travelling to see poor people”
Very well located in a rich area, quiet, nice restaurants nearby. Fireplace, afternoon tea, no bed bugs. Certainly not cheap but if you can afford.
“long weekend at the Kensington”
The Hotel is very beautiful and you are welcomed as you enter the hotel by the friendly helpful staff and this sets the tone for the whole of your stay. The downstairs reception and bar areas are very elegant and comfortable and the rooms are also of a high standard and also very comfortable. If you need any help about where to go or directions the concierge are very knowlegeable and helpful.
“Sophisticated retreat in South Ken”
Absolutely beautiful public spaces - lobby, bar, etc. Room was small by American standards but perfectly appropriate by London standards. Very quiet, well-appointed. Staff were friendly, helpful, unpretentious.
“Excellent hotel. Well recommended.”
This is a great hotel and i would highly recommend it. Following a very expensive facelift the decor is now stylish but not over done. The rooms are comfortable and well designed. The shower was roomy and powerful. My only slight disappointment was the price of the breakfast (the continental buffet was £20 and then more for english breakfast or eggs bennedict etc) as this is not incluuded in the internet offer. There are great coffee shops just round the corner though (on Old Brompton Street) so i headed there. In terms of location i use the hotel when working in South Kensigton and it is perfect. For a tourist you are a 10 minute walk to Harrods which would be a bonus i expect. The museum district is also a stones throw so again, good if that is what you are in London for. The hotel is also only 5 minutes walk to South Kensington tube staion which is on the Picadilly line so has easy access to covent garden/Leicester Square etc. I woudl defintiely use this hotel again.
