“Amazing City! Beautiful Hotel!”
My wife and I stayed over Christmas and could not have been happier. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite on the 11th floor with a pristine view of the Thames, Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye. Waking up to this view alone was enough to make our stay memorable. The hotel room was immaculate other than a few stains on the carpet. Included in the suite: full kitchen(coffee maker, refer, microwave, sink), washer and dryer, two flat screen TV's, leather couch, desk etc. Needless to say we were very comfortable. The hotel breakfast is expensive so walk right down the street to a convienent store where you can buy pastries, juice, milk, bread etc. The nearest tube stop is a little bit of a walk at about 5-7 minutes but it is still pretty close. You can walk to the London Eye and Parliament in about ten minutes.
“The Top niveau confort /prestations/calme/accueil....etc..!!”
“Great hotel for the family to stay in London”
We are a family of 5 (2 kids+1 baby) and the hotel staff was very accommodating (no extra payments, what it is not typical). We had a one bedroom apartment in the 9th floor which included a balcony and a kitchenette (stove, fridge, dishwasher, espresso coffee maker, microwave and washing machine), all very modern and clean. When we arrived, we were amazed about the view and the welcome basket with wine and fresh fruits, but also we had a few things we needed some help, like moving the crib and a minimal flooding in the shower. Only 3-5 minutes after we called and two persons were knocking our door and doing their job very well and politely. We asked to update our room before arriving to have the river view, and it is really spectacular. The room service is expensive (10-20 pounds each plate) but the quality of the food is excellent. The hotel is very well connected by bus (1-3 blocks) or by train and metro (4 blocks) to the main attractions in London, and it is a 40 min walk to Trafalgar Square or the London Eye (consider our two kids and the stroller). The only thing we found about the hotel it is that even that we were in the 9th floor, we could hear the noises of the police cars or the ambulances (they seem to have lots of work) at night, but it was not that we could not sleep. Our experience with this hotel was the best, and we will be back for sure.
“Very modern facility”
The hotel was very modern with provisions such as own laundry facility and own plugs, no need for adapters at all. The location was ideal to the underground, the river thames and many attractions. You will not find a more beautiful 1 bedroom suite anywhere!
“great value 5 star hotel”
Suite accomodation superb, service excellent, staff friendly, its my new home in London, cant wait to stay again!
“Quiet haven in a busy city”
We enjoyed the modern intimate atmosphere. The Plaza on the River is a new, small hotel in a bustling city. It was very clean, quiet, and we enjoyed the personal attention. We would stay here again. The food in the hotel restaurant, Chino Latino, was very well prepared and presented.
“GREAT”
It was great. Would love to go back some day.
“We loved it”
While our original room was excellent it didn't have a tub. It only had a stand up shower. We called and requested a room with a tub and were told that the only rooms with tubs were $140.00 more. When we insited on a room with a tub we were given a one bedroom King Suite at no extra cost. Thank you Irina. The hotel was wonderful, clean and elegant. We would highly recommend it.
“Very impressed”
With a complimentary upgrade to a one bedroom suite, our room was superb. Best we have stayed in, in London, by a long shot. Wonderful base for visiting London - particularly good that you can take advantage of their flexible check in and out times. Rooms were immaculate and luxurious. We can very highly recommend this hotel.
