“very 'lush' indeed”
I absolutlely LOVED this hotel. It's modern, well designed,v.clean, excellently located, friendly and soooooo comfortable.AND I got an excellent 3 night deal - cheaper than many many options which are nowhere near as contemporary, friendly and conveniently located as this. The bathroom was really lovely and the flat screen TV was wonderful to zone out in front of after hours of sightseeing and shopping.(Believe me : v.few C.London 4 or 5 star hotels have flat screens)The bed was really, really comfortable also .I will definitely stay at this hotel again.I only hope that I can still get such a reasonable price again for this quality. An excellent place to stay in London.
“Good service and close to tube”
I liked this hotel. the rooms were clean and have everything you need. The staff were also very friendly. the restaurant did a reasonably priced menu, which was handy after a busy day and a good breakfast. What I really liked though was the location, it was a minute to the tube and as a single female traveller coming back at night thats very important. There were also many little shops and restaurants around the area.I have used many hotels in London and rate this one highly and will definately return there
“Excellent stay.”
We stayed at the Crown Quality Hotel for 3 Nights although the room were small, the hotel was very comfortable, very central, staff wer friendly, clean. I enjoyed my stay here and would have no hestition returning to this hotel i would diffently return. The only downfall was the noise but this did not disturb us too much. After all you are in a city hotel its to be expected.
“Convenient place to stay as a base for seeing London.”
Quality Crown is very conveniently located less than 1/2 block from Paddington Station. Take the Connect train from Heathrow -- cheaper than the Connect -- and this hotel is a very short walk. The underground and a bus stop are also easily accessed from Paddington. The hotel room was very compact, but was clean and well-maintained. My room had a king bed that was comfortable. I pack my own top sheet and a thin blanket when I travel to Europe since typically your room only has a bottom sheet and a duvet. Also bring your own wash cloth. The room had a small desk and a "mini-closet" that my large bag barely fit into. The elevator was out of service, but the bellman took my suitcase to the room. Also, I arrived around 1PM and the front desk attendant checked me in with no wait - much appreciated after an overseas flight. For U.S. travelers, most electrical devices are enabled by inserting your room card into a slot, then the lamps and other outlets may have a switch that also controls them. Bring a 110V adapter for your laptop or phone charger. I didn't eat at this hotel. There's a good pub on Praed Street near the opposite corner of Paddington that has better than average pub food called the "Pride of Paddington" and a mini mart across the street from the pub. Small room, typical of London, no view from the room, but comfortable. I'd stay there again.
“Will stay here again”
Excellent value for money! The hotel receptionist was friendly and the room very comfortable. We weren't in the smallest room but still very good size of room, bed and facilities for the price. All fixtures and fittings were modern and clean. The hotel was very handy for the Paddington Underground Station virtually next door...or if you like a good bracing walk you could access the West End proper across Hyde Park.
“Fantastic location with comfy beds, would definitely go back”
This hotel is literally 2 minutes from Paddington station with plenty of shops around for stocking up on essentials. The room was small but clean and had modern deco. The bathroom was compact but cleverly done so all the essentials are there but in a small space. Flat screen TV, subtle lighting and Dove toiletries are all nice extras that make it worth paying that little bit more for. As for the bed! We have a memory foam mattress at home and I can honestly say that this was just as good! Fantastic nights sleep, view from our window was of a internal courtyard so not very picturesque but nice and quiet!
“Good value for money.”
Great location, close to bus routes and trains, walkable distance to city centre and Hyde Park. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of food places close by.
“Can't wait to go back”
Quality Crown Paddington was lovely in every way. The room was spotless, hotel staff friendly and helpful, location great, room quiet, beds comfortable & always coffee, tea & biscuits at hand. The neighborhood was great with little cafes with delicious food and grocery stores with fresh fruit. We loved it!!
“Great Hotel on our first trip abroad”
The hotel was very clean with excellet service and in a great location near the airport train and the underground. This area is like New York's East Village.
“Shhs! Heathrow to Paddington Station -- non-stop Great value.”
Location excellent within 1/4 block of Paddington Station a swift train ride from Heathrow to dwntwn London. Comfy, adequate room -- small by Amrican stdards--great price to comfort convenience ratio! Don't tell anyone! Keep the secret -- great value.
