“Best Hotel I've stayed at in years”
This is the best hotel I've stayed at in years. The service was fantastic, the location adequate (London's a huge city), and the rooms were kept immaculate. I was so impressed by the Mandarin that I will look for it in other cities.

It was an excellent hotel. The staff was first rate and the room was fantastic. Its an awesome place to stay in the heart of London. walking distance to Harrods which is a 'must see' if you have never been to London.
“Du très grand luxe”
L'hôtel est apparemment le plus cher de Londres mais il est peut-être le meilleur (je ne les ai cependant pas tous testés...). Le service est de très grande qualité, les Halls somptueux, la chambre et la salle très luxueux, l'"entertainment" au top niveau. On peut juste éventuellement déplorer la décoration minimaliste du restaurant "Foliage", mais c'est peut-être un parti pris esthétique.

Mandarin Hyde Park is a fantasic hotel in an unbelievable location. Walking distance to fine restaurants, views and access to Hyde Park, and shopping in abundance help to enhance the overall experience. Their service is unparalleled; discrete staff yet ever present. There is a business center with free internet, printers, all you could need. Dont tote your computer if you dont have to.
“Not the usual Oriental Mandarin that i ams used to staying at in Singapore and Washington, D.C.”
We chose the hotel as I have stayed at other Madarin locations and always been thourouly impressed with the properties. This location is abit outdated and although the location is fantastic, it needs an update! Service and hotel service is impeccable as always for a Mandarin Hotel. Not sure if I would stay there again as other hotels at Hyde Park offer newer properties for much less than we paid to stay here.
“Still nice but could use some work”
I love the Mandarin; the service is great. However, the accoutrements need work. the air conditioning doesn't function well and the B&O TVs never seem to work.
“Overnight grandeur”
5 of us had a wonderful stay at this hotel for my daughters birthday. The rooms were very grand and being adjoining gave us plenty of space. Staff treated us like royalty. yes the hotel is expensive, but on a par with other top London hotels and the location is superb. It would have been nice to have even continental breakfast included in the price though - the extra did feel like too much to spend. The one downside to the hotel is the bar - very small for the size of the hotel and very crowded when we went down for pre-dinner drinks, it was standing room only. Eventually someone got up to leave and we gratefully sat down, only to be asked by one of the hostesses to get up again as apparently you have to put your name on a waiting list to get seats. We did find this very rude and insulting and returned to our rooms quite upset. The hostess did contact us later to say there were now seats, but this experience had certainly taken the shine off the evening.
