“One of London's Best Hotels ; Great Location, Wonderful Service”
Loved this hotel. Arrived early in the morning, and the front desk said our room would be available soon (8:30AM). Left our bags and came back much later. Our room was wonderful, the bed extremely comfy, and the sheets very exquisitely soft (frette quality). The concierge was quite helpful, gave easy directions for local destinations, and able to get us great theatre tickets, as well. Breakfast in the foyer was pricey, but they got the "dry egg white omelette with spinach, broccoli etc." precisely as ordered, so well worth it. Great shopping close by, and Starbucks just down the block. Highly recommend this well kept, and immaculately clean hotel!
“The Classic Lives up to its reputation”
This is a truly great hotel, with wonderful understated service, beautifuly decorated and proportioned rooms, more like a lovely home than an office. the lobby is a great place to meet friends, all too good to be true!
“LONDON'S QUINTESSENTIAL BEST”
Claridge's is an institution - with london's oldest lift - and a lift driver. And that sums up Claridge''s. Continual upgrading has maintained the property, in the best possible location for shopping adjacent to Bond St and Oxford St. The hotel ambience is small enough to feel more like a private exclusive club than one of the world's best hotels. “Winston Churchill had great taste”
Wow, what an experience. It was brilliant from the minute we arrived, even though our room wasn't ready, we were well looked after in the bar. Staff couldn't do enough for us.
“Perfect as usual.......”
When in London, we always try to stay at Claridge's. It offers everything you would want and more. Nothing is ever too much as the the staff is always helpful and lovely with it. Both restaurants give you excellent food and the bar is a nice tranquil heaven! This time we had a room on the 7th floor , we loved it as it was so light and sunny. I don't think there can be a better place to stay in London!
“Best Service in Europe, Very Upscale Clientel”
I found this hotel by accident and booked it as it had a great deal. After booking it, I read a review on Zagat that called the guests staying in this hotel "cartoonishly snobish". I cannot lie and say that I was not nervous about fitting in. Well to my surprise, not only the guests, but also the staff, were AMAZING! The service by our guest room attendant was great. We came back to our room every evening to an immaculate room. The concierge were great at suggesting fun things to do in the city and great restaurants and shows to frequent. It is VERY expensive, especially for us Americans paying for everything in pounds, but I must say it was well worth every pound spent. I work in the hospitality industry in Las Vegas and have never had a better hotel experience in my life.
“Top quality”
If you are looking for an elegant hotel in Mayfair, Claridge's is a perfect spot. My only warning is that the bar has reasonable drink prices but the restaurant is frighteningly expensive.
“Claridges”
The whole experience was sublime. The staff were terrific, the room excellent and the experience superb.
“Ryan Morison (Aberdeen)”
I recently stayed at the Hotel for a long weekend with my girlfriend. Had a fantastic time, the hotel staff were very accommodating and made us feel extremely welcome. I love the old fashioned style of the hotel and its English charm. The room was spacious and very quiet. We had food at Gordon Ramsay's in the hotel, amazing that is all I can say. We will be staying at the hotel in the near future.
“Fantastic experience”
Took my wife to Claridge's for her 40th birthday. They looked after us extremely well. Service was excellent, formal but friendly. Room was extremely comfortable. Location was perfect. Claridge's is very expensive but for a one off treat it was well worth it.
