"We had a fantastic stay at the Martinhal in Chiado. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and the accommodation was excellent - very clean, spacious, quiet and great that the bunk beds were in the living space as opposed to the main bedroom. The breakfast was good - not as comprehensive as other hotels I've been too - but enough choice to ensure that everyone was well fed before heading out for a day tackling Lisbon's hills. The rooftop bar is nice and the pool and spa area on the 3rd floor is very nice although the corridors leading to the area could do with some freshening up. The hotel is big and busy, but it never felt crowded and we did not have to wait for long for assistance. "
