"We had a great time at Hermitage House. I cherished every second. The setting is perfect, and the view is stunning. It was really tidy and lovely! Modern bathrooms and nice, roomy rooms. We enjoyed every moment of it. The setting is perfect, and the view is stunning. The host is incredibly responsive and kind. I'm eager to return. "We had a lovely stay at bank house cottage . Veronica and Alan made us feel very welcome . The cottage has beautiful views all around and is so clean and cosy. Would definitely recommend the hot tub it was very relaxing after long walks. The Stork pub serves great food and is just few minutes away 👍"

"Great house, beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a great getaway. Lots of stairs though being across 4 floors so not for those less mobile which was fine for us. House has high ceilings throughout other than the basement kitchen/diner (which is beautiful) but my 6ft4 sons head touched the ceiling which we laughed about! Beds are really comfortable and better quality than we have ever had in a rental. Lots of lovely extra touches like tea, coffee, cereal, washing products...

"Great no-frills appartment - clean, spacious, in good condition and comfortable (low ceilings and a bit dark as the windows faced the woodland, but it couldn't be helped and it didn't spoil our stay). A pity about the damp smell in the beautiful old main building where the bar and restaurant are but all the staff were friendly, very helpful and the food was good. Good access to coastal walks and for Lancaster too. Ideal for our needs as a group of friends getting together. The pool was nice but...
