"The Ginger House Museum Having stayed there a full week, my wife and I are impressed by the richness of its physical environment and the attentiveness and kindness of its staff. The hotel museum, in the 1500’s, a warehouse for ginger has been tranformed. It is full of wonderful Indian craft from different periods, many valuable: a “snake”boat more than 100 feet long, elephants, strange horselike creatures and many more. Doors and walls are painted and in some cases carved to reflect the antique...

"This property was ideal for our first couple of days in Fort Cochin. Convenient location and Varghese and his wife made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed delicious, home cooked breakfast on the roof terrace. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily return."

The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "

"Really not enjoyed, it was never informed renovation going on in tg8s hotel. If it was known never booked. Paid a hefty amount much higher than hotels in down town. Never expected and disappointing."

"My stay here was one of the best of all in the many countries I have visited , mainly due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners Maryann and Philip. The rooms are clean and comfortable with fan and a/c if you want it. There are nice breakfasts also as an option. I stayed 4 days and felt like a member of the family by the time I left. I can thoroughly recommend this homestay."

"This is a great homestay. The place is clean, walking distance to the sights in Fort Cochin, budget food options, and the local bus to/from the airport. The owners are welcoming and happy to help. The neighbourhood is local, friendly, and safe to walk around day or night. The wifi works, even in the room. There is a nice rooftop to lounging around. This place is a great option. "

"It was a quaint little place with very friendly staff. The restaurant was covered but had no walls / no AC. Also, they do not have a liquor license so they do not serve."
